Hello everyone! I am Dr. Beverly Regisford-Henry, a licensed psychotherapist in both Florida and New York. I specialize in working with children, teens, young adults, and the families who support them.

I approach therapy with the understanding that children do not heal in isolation. With over 12 years of experience as a therapist and more than 20 years as an educator, I bring a unique blend of clinical expertise, educational insight, and genuine compassion to my work.

I have walked school hallways, partnered closely with parents, and supported families navigating real-life challenges. I understand the quieter struggles young people often carry—and I am deeply committed to helping them feel heard, understood, and empowered.

My work also extends to adults navigating family and relationship challenges. I graduated with honors from National Louis University with my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I received a bachelor’s degree in Special Education in 2013 from Walsh University in Ohio. I taught children with varying exceptionalities and learning differences for five years. I have over ten years of experience working with children and adults with autism, ADHD, and various learning disabilities.

I utilize interventions of various approaches to best assist my clients in accomplishing their individual goals. These approaches include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness Based Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy and Narrative Therapy. I am also a certified yoga teacher.
