My style is warm, authentic, and collaborative while remaining grounded in evidence-based treatment. Meet Teri Roessler-Kennedy, APRN, PMHNP-BC, FNP-C
Hello, and welcome. I am Teri Roessler-Kennedy, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care.
I began my nursing career over 10 years ago as a Registered Nurse, working in a variety of specialties including neonatal, emergency, correctional, geriatric, and nursing education. I earned my nursing degree from North Florida Community College and later received my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing administration from Thomas University. In 2019, I completed my Family Nurse Practitioner training at Regis College in Weston, Massachusetts, and became certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
Recognizing the growing need for mental health services in rural communities, I returned to school to further my education and became an ANCC Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in February 2024.
My goal is to provide personalized care that helps patients improve their mental health, overall well-being, and quality of life. I treat adolescents and adults with a variety of mental health conditions, including:
- ADHD
- Depression
- Anxiety
- PTSD
- Bipolar Disorder
- Schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders
I am committed to creating a supportive, judgment-free environment where patients feel heard, respected, and empowered in their treatment journey.
Currently accepting new psychiatric patients in Live Oak, Madison, Lake City, Jasper, and Surrounding areas in Florida.
I know that reaching out for support isn't always easy, so however you got here, I'm glad you did. I work with adults and couples navigating a wide range of experiences, including anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, ADHD, anger and impulse challenges, stress, and issues that arise specifically for women. A lot of the people I see are carrying more than they let on and are simply looking for a space where they can set it down for a while.
Something I care deeply about, both in my own life and in the work we do together, is balance. Life is full, and it's easy to lose track of the things that keep us steady: rest, connection, time for yourself, the people you love. Part of what I hope to help you find is a way of living that feels sustainable and true to what matters most to you.
I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) who works with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, trauma-related concerns, insomnia, and other mental health challenges. I provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management while creating a supportive, respectful, and judgment-free environment. My goal is to help you better understand your symptoms, develop effective coping strategies, and work toward meaningful, lasting improvement in your mental well-being.

I work with teens and adults who are struggling with anxiety, emotional overwhelm, and relationship challenges—especially those who feel stuck between comfort and change. From the moment you walk in, or log on, you'll feel the difference. My goal is for therapy to feel less like an appointment and more like a conversation with someone genuinely in your corner.
