I am a bilingual Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who provides care in English and Spanish. I enjoy helping children and adults feel more understood, supported, and hopeful about their mental health. I work with concerns such as anxiety, depression, stress, sleep difficulties, mood changes, and focus challenges. My goal is to make care feel comfortable, practical, and centered on what matters most to you.

I am a proud graduate of Albizu University, located in Miami, FL. My clinical training includes working with victims of trauma, military and first responders. I provide therapy, crisis intervention, and critical incident debriefing.

Additionally, I provide psycho-educational and full psychological evaluations from age 4-90.

Mindfully focused to connect your presenting concern to your system, my style is to meet you where you are whether you need me to explain what we’re doing, or simply direct you. My approach is practical, direct, and occasionally humorous — I believe real progress happens when you feel are both, supported and challenged, not just listened to.

Over 30 years I've worked with individuals, couples, and families through some of the hardest seasons of life: chronic illness, painful grief, relationship breakdowns, severe ADHD, life hindering eating disorders, destructive anger, and major life transitions.

I singly raised my three children, and came to realize clinical training doesn’t compare to life experience... theory helps it’s just not enough to capture the big picture.

I've also spent significant time working with military families and first responders, rich in life experience. They seem to prefer my steady, no-nonsense mindset at times.

For me, therapy is all about helping individuals get in touch with their true self. I have spent the past 10 years working in medication management and therapy to do just that. I am open to working with anyone who is looking to better understand themselves and unlock their potential. My clinical experience spans from clients of all ages and from all walks of life.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Professional Mental Health Clinician, and Life Coach with over 25 years of experience providing inpatient and outpatient mental health therapy, as well as more than 30 years of working alongside individuals to help them create meaningful and lasting change in their lives. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Florida State University, a master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of Georgia, and I am an active member of the Phi Alpha Honor Society.

I believe that the most powerful change happens when clients feel safe, accepted, and empowered to be themselves. My ideal client is motivated, engaged, and open to self-reflection—but in truth, everyone is welcome in my practice. Whether you’re struggling with past trauma, navigating current challenges, or simply looking to grow, my goal is to provide a supportive, judgment-free space where we can work together toward your goals. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Florida and currently accepting new clients. I hold a Bachelor of Social Work and Master of Social Work, with 10 years of experience across law enforcement, community agencies, education, substance recovery, and a military installation. I support clients with stress management, emotional and anger regulation, communication and relationship concerns, life transitions, and everyday stressors. I offer a compassionate, welcoming space to begin meaningful change.
