I have over 30 years of direct clinical experience. I work remotely at this time, and blend cognitive behavioral techniques with psychodynamic techniques, including dream work (if interested). I work with adults with a wide range of challenges. I cannot make your anxiety disappear; however, I can help you change your relationship to it.
My specialties include trauma, relationships, supervision, and medical issues. I will help you be more conscious of your thoughts, emotions, and body and thus reach your potential.
My previous education in biology and neuropsychology has provided me with knowledge that is invaluable, especially during trauma work. Because I find both Eastern and Western psychological practices useful, I integrate many tools and therapies into the sessions and tailor treatment to each individual.
I am Betty Steer, a dual board-certified Family and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC, PMHNP-BC) and a graduate of the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Choosing to prioritize your mental wellness is an act of strength. Whether you are seeking support for yourself or your child, you deserve a provider who treats you as a whole person, not just a diagnosis. I am currently welcoming new patients. You’ve carried this weight alone long enough—call or email me today to take the first step toward reclaiming your stability and joy
