I have over 30 years of direct clinical experience. I work remotely at this time, and blend cognitive behavioral techniques with psychodynamic techniques, including dream work (if interested). I work with adults with a wide range of challenges. I cannot make your anxiety disappear; however, I can help you change your relationship to it.
I specialize in trauma therapy for adults, with extensive experience supporting survivors of sexual violence and other traumatic experiences. If you’ve been through something overwhelming, it can feel like a fog has settled over you, affecting every part of your life. You might find yourself overthinking, being on edge, shutting down, or feeling numb, even when you want to feel present and connected. Many people I work with feel stuck in this space and are unsure how to move forward. Together, we’ll work to understand and process your emotions, thoughts, and past experiences so they no longer hold the same power over you.
Welcome to the start of your therapeutic journey. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) living in Denver, Colorado! I grew up in the Philadelphia area and moved to CO when I fell in love with all it has to offer! I am a Certified ADHD-Clinical Services Provider. As someone with ADHD myself, I understand how it can impact one's life. I have much experience working with clients to cope with how ADHD impacts anxiety & depression. I also specialize in examining how one's queer and neurodivergent identities can compound the trauma of growing up in a world that does not support either identity.
Along with being a therapist, I am a crafter, mother, gardener, queer, neurodivergent, and lover of all things fantasy!
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with 16 years of experience supporting individuals through a wide range of life experiences and challenges. Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to work with diverse populations and address many different areas of mental health and personal growth.
Are you navigating anxiety, trauma, ADHD, neurodiversity, or questions around identity and life change, and hoping to feel more understood? I support people through trauma, depression, anxiety, ADHD, neurodiversity, and major life adjustments. My approach is warm, culturally humble, trauma-informed, and focused on you as a whole person. I believe you know yourself best, and I’m here to listen, understand your goals, and help you find steps that feel right for you.
I'm Anna Bellard, LCSW, a trauma therapist with nearly a decade of experience supporting adults through anxiety, PSTD, and the lasting impact of trauma. I specialize in EMDR therapy and somatic-based approaches that help clients heal not just mentally, but through the nervous system as a whole.
I earned my Bachelor's degree in Psychology at the University of Vermont and completed my Master of Social Work at University of Denver in 2020. My clinical background includes inpatient psychiatric care, adult partial hospitalization (PHP), and dual-diagnosis treatment, where I worked with complex trauma, mood disorders, and substance use.
Overtime, my work led me to focus on individual therapy for adults seeking deeper healing, emotional regulation, and reconnection with themselves. My approach is warm, collaborative, and direct.
Life isn't always about getting through a crisis. Sometimes it's realizing you've been carrying stress, anxiety, self-doubt, or emotional exhaustion for so long that it feels normal. You don't have to have everything figured out before reaching out. I believe therapy works best when you feel understood, respected, and comfortable being yourself. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, burnout, relationship challenges, or simply feeling stuck, we'll work together to help you move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
My priority is to provide a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where you feel heard, respected, and supported. With over 40 years in healthcare—including service as a former Navy Nurse Corps Officer and retired military veteran—I bring values of resilience, trust, and teamwork into every therapeutic relationship. I view care as a partnership and work to empower you to take an active role in your mental health.
