I am an independent therapist who works to get you you where you need and want to be in life. Most know me by Frank. Frank has been in the field of behavioral health for more than 25 years. Beginning with Independent Living Skills Training for Traumatic Brain Injured Individuals, Frank took care of individuals that had a goal of independence. Frank continued on in the field with respite care and eventually graduated from Grand Canyon University Cum Laude and Alphi Chi Honor society. Frank’s counseling journey began with Group Therapy in co-occuring addictions and proceeded to Crisis work including Title 36 and Crisis Mobile Team. I’m a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a background in emergency nursing, where I developed strong skills in crisis support, trauma-informed care, and compassionate communication. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Louisville and my Master of Science in Nursing from the University of South Alabama in 2025. My training includes inpatient and outpatient psychiatric settings, providing care across the lifespan. I have a special interest in working with children, adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, mood disorders and trauma-related concerns. My goal is to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and empowered.
There’s already so much in the world to feel stressed about. Relationship struggles don’t need to add to that weight. I love helping couples and individuals navigate relational distress. After working as an engineer for 10 years, I transitioned into therapy. I bring a blend of analytic and empathetic skills into the therapy room. My approach is laid-back, and I enjoy incorporating humor into sessions. I’ve been practicing for nearly 15 years, focusing on adults and couples.
I’m a warm, direct, and collaborative therapist who believes therapy should feel both supportive and purposeful. I create a space where you don’t have to minimize your pain or have everything figured out. I work best with clients who want to understand themselves more deeply, heal from emotional wounds, and make meaningful changes. I value honesty, curiosity, and practical tools, and I’ll meet you with compassion while also helping you gently challenge patterns that keep you stuck
Are you ready to be happy, content and in love with yourself? I am here to help you achieve your goals as a Licensed Professional Counselor. I have a bachelors degree in Kinesiology, of which is the study of human movement (sports medicine) from the University of Washington. I also have a Masters degree in Psychology from Antioch University Seattle, WA. My additional credentials include the following: certified clinical supervisor, minority mental health specialist, and certified grief recovery counselor. I’m passionate about providing quality mental health care to my clients.
Since many clients feel a sense of "disloyalty" when seeking help for family issues, include a line like: "Seeking support isn't about being 'disloyal'—it's about being healthy." Do you feel like you’re "managing" your parent instead of having a relationship with them? Body: For many adult children of narcissistic parents, every phone call feels like a tactical mission. You’re constantly scanning for "mood shifts," choosing your words with extreme caution, and dealing with a hangover of guilt long after the conversation ends. It’s exhausting to be the only one trying to keep the peace. I help clients move out of "survival mode" and into a place of emotional autonomy.
I have experience with BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, women, disabilities, trauma, depression, and PTSD. My goal is to help you recognize your strengths and improve your self-compassion. I believe in the importance of the therapeutic relationship and strives to create an environment of trust, empathy, and unconditional positive regard.
