Welcome!
Seeking therapy takes a leap of courage to dare imagine that you are deserving of a more fulfilling life. Whether you are dealing with the grief associated with life transitions or working through persistent anxiety & depression, I provide a compassionate, warm, and judgment free space where you feel genuinely heard and validated and we can work together toward meaningful change.
Hello! My name is Richard Krebs and I've been working with Warrior Wellness Group for the past 8 years. I received my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from UAB in 2018 and specialize in trauma therapy. I am certified in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing).
Maybe you have been holding it together at work while quietly coming apart at home. Maybe your teenager has changed in ways you do not understand and you are out of ideas. Maybe you have reached a season where the strategies that carried you this far have simply stopped working. I am Claudia Arns-Hall, a Licensed Professional Counselor in Alabama, and I treat each client as if they were my only client. I came to counseling as a second career. For more than twenty years I worked in human resources, training, and leadership development for organizations including State Street, Revlon, and Southern Company, and I served as a human resources director before making the change. Because I felt a calling in my life to assist others, I earned my M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University, and I also hold an M.S. from Lesley University and a B.S. in Business Administration. For the past four years I have worked at Hill Crest Behavioral Health Services, first as a therapist on the Acute Adult Unit and Patient Intensive Care Unit and now as Clinical Coordinator for the acute unit, where I also train and mentor newer therapists. That is emergency-room-paced behavioral health work, which means very little you bring me will be unfamiliar and none of it will shock me. I have served both adults and adolescents. If you want someone thorough, involved, and genuinely focused on your individual situation rather than on a protocol, that is what I offer.
Something happened, and even if life has moved on around you, part of you is still carrying it. I work with people navigating trauma, loss, anxiety, and the kind of identity questions that don't have easy answers — the ones that come up when you're trying to figure out who you are after something has shifted. My practice is built for people who are ready to stop managing and start actually healing.
I am passionate about creating non-judgmental, safe spaces for my clients. My approach centers on building trusting alliances with those I serve, working collaboratively to help them achieve their personal goals and enhance their quality of life.
I bring specialized experience in several key areas, including Veteran and military life transitions, schizophrenia spectrum disorders, mood disorders, relationship challenges, life changes, and stress management. Whether you're navigating service-related challenges or working through personal struggles, I'm here to support you on your journey toward wellness.
