I am a psychotherapist with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Wisconsin–Superior. I work with adults, adolescents, couples, and families around anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, religious trauma, spiritual concerns, and psychedelic integration.
Great to meet you!
As your therapist I strive to create a warm, safe, engaging space where we can explore your strengths and build a do-able plan to help get you through the tough spots. Welcome — I’m Shuntell Browne, a licensed therapist and proud United States Navy veteran. My background in military service deeply informs the way I show up in the therapy space: with structure, compassion, accountability, and a strong commitment to helping others navigate life’s challenges with resilience and confidence.
I work with both children and adults, specializing in anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, trauma, grief, and family transitions such as divorce or changes in caregiving. I have extensive experience supporting children and adolescents who are struggling with self-esteem, peer relationships, school stress, and big emotions, as well as adults who are working through life stressors, past trauma, and relationship challenges.
My therapeutic approach is client-centered, trauma-informed, and strengths-based. I focus on creating a safe, supportive environment where clients feel understood and empowered, while also learning practical coping skills they can apply outside of sessions. I believe therapy should be both healing and actionable, and I partner closely with clients to help them make meaningful, lasting changes.
Whether you are seeking therapy for yourself or your child, my goal is to support growth, build emotional resilience, and help you move forward with clarity and confidence.
