Hello! I am retired law enforcement and have over 35 years experience working with citizens and first responders in behavioral health crisis. I provide individual therapy for adults and specialize in crisis intervention. I believe people have the ability to guide their own path - they just need a map.

I have been practicing since 2008 and bring over 17 years of experience helping people move through life’s difficult seasons with more clarity, strength, and self-trust. I grew up in Canada and later moved to Texas, where I completed my master’s in Counseling. Over the years, I have worked with clients navigating anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, grief, relationship issues, and life transitions. Many people come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, stuck in painful patterns, or unsure how to move forward. My goal is to offer a space where you feel safe, understood, and supported as we begin making sense of what is weighing on you and what healing could look like.

I have my LPC-Licensed Professional Counselor and LMFT-Licensed Marriage and Family Counselor licenses. I have my Juris Doctorate and I am an expert in family law. My approach is collaborative, practical, and I make sure the client has something they can use to help themselves by the end of every session. I work with all types of clients, but mostly with adults, individually and as couples.

Prisca Oketch, APRN, PMHNP-BC, with over 17 years of dedicated clinical experience, specializes in comprehensive mental health treatment. I combine evidence-based psychiatric care with compassionate listening, creating personalized treatment plans that address each patient's unique needs. I am accepting new patients of all ages, from children to adults, both for cash pay and insurance with same-day availability.
