Hi, I’m a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I graduated from Drexel University with my Master's degree in Nursing. I then completed my Post-Graduate Certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I have over twenty years of experience working in healthcare. Psych has always been my passion. My experiences encompass working with clients across the life span, including Child and Adolescents, Adult, and Geriatric patient populations. I’ve provided services to clients presenting with many psychiatric disorders, such as Anxiety, Depression, ADHD, Bipolar Disorder, and more. I’m in the belief that mental health wellbeing is a priority. Human beings are resilient. Holistic care is the key to promoting better patient outcomes. Therefore, I believe that with an evidence-based practice treatment plan consisting of psychotherapy and/or a combination of psychotherapy and medication management, one will be able to control their mental health.
I’m a very compassionate, caring, and empathetic person. I strive to provide holistic care and collaborate with my clients to develop a treatment plan that they are comfortable with.
I have my Master of Social Work from New York University and have worked in Social Services and Behavioral Healthcare for more than 26 years between New York City and Philadelphia. I offer individual therapy to support my clients in their work to live their best lives, whatever that means to them. I have experience working in inpatient psychiatry and outpatient counseling.

Factors to Consider When Choosing a Therapist in Newtown Square, PA
Searching for therapists in Newtown Square starts with knowing what kind of support you want. People look for therapy for many reasons, including anxiety, depression, grief, relationship challenges, trauma, work stress, and life transitions. As you compare therapists, look for training and listed specialties that match your needs. A therapist’s profile can help you understand their approach, such as cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-informed care, family therapy, or support for specific life stages.
Newtown Square is a smaller community, so nearby in-person openings may vary by schedule, office location, and specialty. Virtual therapy can expand your options across Pennsylvania while still connecting you with a licensed therapist who can provide care in your state. As you narrow your search, consider appointment times, whether the therapist is accepting new patients, and whether a free phone consultation is offered. Reading bios before booking can help you learn how each therapist structures sessions and communicates with new clients.
Therapy in Newtown Square can be a significant investment without insurance. Using in-network insurance is one of the most reliable ways to reduce session costs and understand what you may pay before you book. Headway helps you find therapists who accept a wide range of insurance plans, shows estimated out-of-pocket costs after you enter your plan details, and lets you book directly when you are ready.
If anyone in your family is experiencing or worried about abuse, threats, or coercion, joint family or couples therapy usually isn't the right starting point — individual support is safer. The Childhelp National Child Abuse Hotline (1-800-422-4453) and National Domestic Violence Hotline (1-800-799-7233, or text START to 88788\) can help you think through next steps.
