Hello and welcome! I’m Beth, and I’m so glad you’re here and have taken the important first step toward self-care. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania. You may be feeling like you've lost motivation or that your emotions have taken over, or perhaps you're worried about a child. Whatever challenges you're facing, EVERYONE deserves to lead a meaningful life. My goal is to create a safe and supportive environment where individuals can confront their struggles, find empowerment, and regain a sense of security to start living their best lives.

As a highly sensitive person (HSP) with strong empathy, I understand the importance of compassion. I'm a down-to-earth person who has my own struggles, just like everyone else. I have two children: a son who recently got married and a daughter currently in college. Between my family, including my husband, we certainly know how to drive each other crazy! I love spending time outdoors in nature, as it helps me stay balanced. The tools and strategies I share with my clients are ones I’ve used in my own life, and I believe my experiences as a therapist, educator, mother, wife, daughter, and friend make me a relatable ally for those I work with.

Before becoming a counselor, I spent the first 20 years of my career as a school teacher in Philadelphia. During that time, I was privy to many difficult situations in my students' homes, including various forms of abuse and neglect. Unfortunately, the education system's main focus was on meeting academic standards, leaving little room to address the mental health challenges these children faced. I did my best to support them both academically and emotionally. Over time, I realized what my true calling was and I resigned from teaching to pursue a graduate degree in mental health counseling.

It’s exhausting to live a life that feels more like a performance than an experience. You may feel heavy with the weight of "doing"—meeting expectations while losing the quiet essence of "being." Whether navigating the hollow ache of loss, the fog of depression, or the echoes of trauma, I know how it feels to be a stranger to yourself. Therapy begins when you decide you can no longer just "push through." We move forward by creating space for your pain to be heard. It's a journey of reclamation: stripping away the noise to rediscover the resilient, authentic soul that has been waiting for you all along.

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 16 years of nursing experience across behavioral health, trauma, critical care, geriatrics, and nursing leadership. Throughout my career, I have seen how deeply mental health affects every part of a person’s life, their relationships, work, sleep, confidence, physical health, and ability to feel like themselves.

I provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management for clients navigating depression, anxiety, ADHD, trauma-related symptoms, mood changes, insomnia, stress, burnout, and life transitions.

My style is warm, empowering, holistic, and solution-oriented. I believe healing begins with feeling heard, understood, and supported without judgment. My goal is to help clients feel less stuck, reconnect with themselves, and move toward feeling whole again. Together, we will look beyond symptoms and explore the life experiences, stressors, sleep patterns, medical concerns, relationships, and personal goals that may be affecting your mental health.

I want clients to leave care feeling informed, hopeful, and equipped with a plan that helps them optimize what matters most and build a life they can truly enjoy.

Find the right therapist for you

Headway makes it easy to find support for your mental health — from finding the right provider, to understanding costs, to scheduling with ease.

Factors to Consider When Choosing a Mental Health Therapist in Greensburg, PA

Searching for therapists in Greensburg starts with knowing what kind of support you want and which therapist specialties match your needs. You may be looking for help with anxiety, depression, grief, relationship challenges, stress, or a life transition. As you compare therapists, look for training, listed specialties, and approaches that connect to what you want to work on. A therapist’s bio can help you understand their style, the concerns they often support, and what a session may be like.

In a smaller city like Greensburg, local in-person options may be more limited than in larger Pennsylvania markets. Virtual appointments can expand your choices while still connecting you with a therapist licensed in Pennsylvania. As you narrow your search, consider appointment times, whether a therapist offers in-person or virtual sessions, and whether a free phone consultation is available. Reading profiles before booking can help you compare communication style, therapy approach, and fit beyond basic credentials.

Therapy in Greensburg can be a significant investment without insurance. Using in-network insurance is one of the most reliable ways to reduce session costs and understand what you may pay before care begins. Headway makes it easier to find therapists who match your preferences, and you can check insurance coverage and estimated costs before you book. You can browse therapists in Greensburg, review bios, and book directly when you’re ready.

1 Cost may vary based on your location, age, and insurance coverage.
