What is your approach to therapy?
I believe that therapy is most effective when it is a collaborative partnership tailored to your unique story. My style is warm, holistic, and integrative. Because I am trained in both Clinical Social Work and Christian Theology (Masters of Divinity), I view health through a wide lens—considering not just your thoughts and behaviors, but also your values, your community, and the physical way your body carries stress.
My goal is to help you move from a place of "just getting by" to a place where you feel grounded, resilient, and authentically yourself.
I’m a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner and the founder of Mindful Balance & Wellness. I provide evidence-based psychiatric care while incorporating an integrative approach that considers the connection between mental health, lifestyle, and overall well-being.
I work with adults and adolescents experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, and mood-related concerns. I’m particularly interested in how factors such as sleep, stress, nutrition, and hormonal changes can impact mental health, and I continue to expand my training in integrative and functional psychiatry to better support my patients.
I take time to listen and understand your full story, not just your symptoms. My goal is to create a personalized plan that helps you feel better, function better, and regain a sense of balance in your life.
My Cherry Hill office, near Philadelphia, is accessible, well ventilated and private for in-person sessions. Online therapy from the privacy of your home is also available. Reach a supportive therapist who is one click away and can be accessed in any weather and in any mood. Do you have feelings of guilt, shame, traumatic memories or intrusive thoughts, family conflict, or have a family member you are worried about? With a variety of proven treatments, I partner with you to enable, empower and restore you to a healthy state of mind and good quality of life. You can expect that our interactions will be dynamic, and useful.
I support all lifestyle and relationship choices that are safe, sane and consensual. All family configurations are welcome. I am culturally competent and will support you in seeking to find peace and resolve internal or family conflict between religious beliefs, family attitudes and your identity or lifestyle choices.
You do not have to live with unbearable emotional pain, worry, intrusive memories and/or depression. Relief is just a phone call, text or email away.
Even after 2 decides of supporting people, I'm even more inspired by those that seek support. I sincerely believe in the likelihood of improving.
I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a PhD in Social Work, bringing together doctoral-level research and extensive clinical experience to provide evidence-based therapy for children, adolescents, young adults, and families in Pennsylvania and Delaware. I specialize in anxiety, self-esteem, perfectionism, body image concerns, disordered eating, and eating disorder recovery.
My clinical background includes working closely with children, teens, and families in both mental health and medical settings, which has shaped my understanding of how emotional wellbeing is influenced by stress, family relationships, identity development, and the pressures many young people carry every day. I also understand that struggles with food, body image, anxiety, and self-worth often show up quietly at first—and deserve compassionate, thoughtful support.
I strive to create a therapy space that feels warm, nonjudgmental, and genuinely supportive. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, stuck in self-criticism, or unsure how to move forward. My goal is to help clients feel understood while building the insight, coping skills, and confidence needed to make meaningful change.
I’m also a doctoral candidate in Social Work, which reflects my commitment to providing evidence-informed care that is both thoughtful and deeply personalized. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, body image challenges, relationship stress, life transitions, or simply feeling unlike yourself lately, therapy can be a place to feel grounded, supported, and empowered.
With 8 years of experience in the mental health field, I firmly believe in the parity of mental and physical health. Life often leads us into dark tunnels, and my role in therapy is to guide individuals toward the light at the end of those tunnels.
