Hi! I'm a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner offering comprehensive psychiatric care across Florida. My approach combines evidence-based medication management with lifestyle medicine principles backed by modern science. I specialize in ADHD, depression, anxiety, insomnia, and addiction. Jacki Veler, MSN, PMHNP, FNP, is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner with more than 16 years of nursing experience. She earned her MSN as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Spring Arbor University in 2021 and her PMHNP Graduate Certificate from the University of Toledo in 2022. At NewHeart Mental Health and Wellness in Oak Harbor, Ohio, she delivers in person and remote outpatient psychiatry and addiction treatment for adults and children across the entire lifespan. She also provides inpatient psychiatric care at a behavioral health hospital.

I am a dual-credentialed Clinical Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) and an Independent Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) for over 8 years. I have experience working with children and teens (along with supporting parents), young adults, people with disabilities, and women.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who provides trauma-informed therapy for adults, with a focus on anxiety, perfectionism, and attachment-related concerns. I earned my degree from the University of Alabama and have specialized training in evidence-based, attachment-focused approaches.

My ideal client is someone who is open to the life-changing, transformative solutions that modern psychiatry and mental health can offer. My practice is virtual by design, meeting clients on their terms, during non-traditional hours when they have time to focus on themselves and their needs.
