I am passionate about helping clients cultivate greater balance, vitality, and overall well-being in their lives. I have experience working with individuals facing a wide range of mental health concerns, including depression, anxiety, trauma, bipolar disorder, OCD, ADHD, disordered eating, substance use disorders, and insomnia. I earned my degree from Hunter College in New York City, where I developed a strong foundation in evidence-based, client-centered care.
I began my psychiatric nursing career after graduating from Columbia University School of Nursing in 2009. Several years later, I pursued an advanced practice degree, also at Columbia University, and earned a PhD. I lived in Poland and France before I arrived to the United States at the turn of this century. Given my international experience, I work in three languages: English, French, and Polish. I offer therapy and medication management and the clients and me decide on the best approach.
Marsel Kogan is a board-certified psychiatric-mental health and family nurse practitioner providing evidence-based care for adults. I am a therapist with a Latinx background and strongly believe we can benefit from a therapist during major life events to help us navigate the valleys of life. This can be major job change, divorce, reinventing ourselves, empty nest syndrome, and death of a loved one. All of these events change our identify a bit. They can bring up unresolved issues in our past. I am therapist that goes to therapy. I believe in the healing power and magic of safe spaces that allow US to be AUTHENTIC. I've been a therapist for the past 12 years and have accumulated experience working with folks who have experienced trauma, anxiety, infertility, bereavement, suicide, PNES, epilepsy, immigration and depression.
Hi, I'm Dr. William Yu, a board-certified psychiatrist with over 15 years of experience providing medication management and psychotherapy for adults and adolescents. My areas of expertise include depression, anxiety, ADHD, trauma-related conditions, and life transitions.
I’m a board-certified Nurse Practitioner with over a decade of experience working in ICU. My background in ICU shaped how I understand the deep connection between physical and mental health, especially how stress, trauma, and anxiety often show up in the body. I transitioned into psychiatry after witnessing firsthand the emotional toll the pandemic had on patients, families, and healthcare workers. It became clear to me that supporting people’s mental health is just as essential as treating physical conditions.
**Important for New Jersey patients seeking STIMULANT treatment:
Due to New Jersey state regulations, patients prescribed stimulant medications are required to attend an in-person visit at least once every three months. These visits are scheduled at my SoHo office in Manhattan.
Please note that there is a $100 facility fee for in-person visits to cover the cost of the clinical space. This fee is separate from insurance and is due at the time of the visit.**
