I am a very laid-back therapist. I value the therapeutic relationship we build. I view our experience as a travel we go on together to help remove obstacles leading to your chosen goals. This is also your safe place to talk about things you may not feel comfortable talking to with people in your day-to-day life. My approach is to provide a nonjudgmental safe space.
I was an educator for almost 14 years when I began my training in clinical mental health. I initially worked with teens and families in intensive in-home therapy. I transitioned to outpatient where I worked with women and men who had histories of abuse. My training and experience have been predominantly in trauma and grief. I have worked with individuals who suffer from mood disorders as well as personality disorders, particularly those with complex traumas and abuse in their histories.
I strive to create a space that is comfortable, accepting and lighthearted at times. I enjoy creating a therapeutic relationship that involves a direct approach while also being welcoming and open-minded.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and psychotherapist with extensive experience providing compassionate, evidence-based therapy to individuals and couples, as well as adolescents and families. I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, relationship difficulties, life transitions, substance use concerns, and other emotional and behavioral challenges. I also provide sex therapy and have extensive experience working with members of the LGBTQ+ community. Whether you are struggling individually or working through challenges in a relationship, my goal is to provide a safe, supportive space where you can talk openly, better understand what is happening, and begin making meaningful changes.
I earned my Master of Social Work from New York University and have a diverse clinical background that extends beyond traditional outpatient therapy. Before focusing on psychotherapy, I spent many years working as a medical social worker and care coordinator in hospital and community health settings. During that time, I supported individuals and families navigating medical and behavioral health concerns, chronic illness, substance use, domestic violence, psychiatric crises, and other difficult life circumstances.
These experiences have shaped the way I practice today. I understand that emotional well-being is often connected to relationships, physical health, family dynamics, work, identity, sexuality, and the practical pressures of everyday life. Rather than looking at a concern in isolation, I try to understand the larger context of what you are experiencing and how the different parts of your life may be affecting one another.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of experience. While I am direct and passionate, I will challenge you and provide a space where you feel safe. We will probably laugh a lot and explore areas you may never imagined were possible to go. I am caring, open minded and love guiding clients in their journey.
