I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I graduated from Western Michigan University with a Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have 9 years experience as a therapist.
I became a therapist later in life after working many years in manufacturing and as a mail carrier. A journey of personal growth and healing led me to a career as a therapist.
I enjoy helping others grow, heal and overcome challenges. I have much experience helping people manage life transitions, relationship problems, anxiety and depression.
I bring years of combined experience across clinical therapy, behavioral health, and community-based care, serving diverse populations with complex needs. My passion centers on supporting individuals, including system-impacted individuals, My goal is for therapy to be a progressive experience that results in meaningful, lasting change.
I am a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) and a University of Michigan graduate, and my
area of expertise is co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. Over the course of
my career, I have worked with individuals navigating addiction, PTSD, anxiety, depression, and
the complex challenges that arise when these conditions intersect. I believe that healing
happens in a space where you feel genuinely safe and understood, and I am committed to
providing exactly that. I would love to work alongside you as you move toward the life you
deserve.
I was born and raised in Michigan. I love the four seasons and all of the college and professional sport teams. I have over 20 years of behavioral health experience and both mental health and substance abuse. I also hold a certificate from Western Michigan University for treating drug and alcohol addictions.
Life has a way of throwing curveballs we never saw coming, and when that happens, it helps to have someone steady beside you. I create a warm, non-judgmental space where you can show up exactly as you are—no pretending to have it all figured out, no fear of being judged for where you're at right now. Together, we'll work through what you've been carrying, find your footing in the present, and start building toward a future that actually feels exciting to you.
If anxiety, depression, substance use, or ADHD is part of what brings you here, I offer virtual therapy in Michigan for adolescents and adults. I’m a licensed psychologist, and I also work with families.
