I am a licensed mental health therapist with a background in social work. I have a master's in clinical social work from the University of Wisconsin, Green Bay. I have experience working in outpatient therapy and medical settings, which has shaped my grounded and integrative approach to care. I work with adults and children navigating anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, professional stress, grief, and patterns that feel difficult to shift. I also support individuals experiencing self-doubt, boundary concerns, emotional overwhelm, and relational dynamics that leave them feeling unseen or unheard.
Connecting with clients is a privilege and a joy that never gets old. My sessions are tailored to help you, the client, reach your goals. I am person centered and utilize an eclectic mix of therapeutic techniques including EMDR, IFS, ACT, and CBT. I have been practicing therapy for over 10 years and I have worked with a variety of ages and life stages.
I have worked in the Social Work field for about 10 years and found my specialty and passion in therapy. I am a compassionate and non-judgmental therapist who enjoys working one-on-one with individuals seeking help. I specialize in anxiety, depression, self-harm behaviors, trauma, family conflict, postpartum, and LGBTQ+ issues.
I am a Licensed Therapist with over two decades of experience, holding a Master’s degree in Social Work since 2003. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with individuals and families from a wide range of ages, cultural backgrounds, socioeconomic statuses, and gender identities. My approach is grounded in empathy, respect, and a deep commitment to supporting each client’s unique journey toward healing and personal growth.
Yehuda, a graduate of Wurzweiler School of Social Work, works as a clinical therapist and a school-based social worker. He is passionate about helping adults of all ages reach their full potential. To that end, he employs psychoanalytical and psychodynamic perspectives to help clients learn more about themselves. His patient-centered and humanistic approach focuses on the evolving relationship between the therapist and client providing the client the time and space to grow at their own pace. Yehuda works hard to provide a safe space for clients to share or to simply be themselves. Yehuda works with clients from a variety of backgrounds who are struggling with relationship issues, anxiety, trauma, or those who simply want to learn more about themselves. Outside of work hours, Yehuda can be found spending time with his family, cooking, or enjoying the great outdoors.
Seeking therapy can be anxiety provoking. But it can also create welcome change. When I initially speak with clients, I want to hear their story; where they have been and where they want to go. As a team, I want to help them get there. I see the relationship between a client and therapist as a collaboration of efforts. We create a team based approach, where I can help a client "connect the dots" to gain a better understanding of their every day life experiences and challenges.
I graduated from MSU with my BSW, and then received my MSW from U-M. I have been practicing for about 30 years. I specialize in anxiety/depression, parent guidance, grief, coping, trauma, relationship issues and life transitions.
We are all travelers in this lifetime. Everyone is traveling to the same destination, but all benefit from a guide/professional support. I pass no judgment, I only meet people where they are at and where they wish to be. Let's get you to where you wish to be. I do encourage holistic and alternative methods to get to your goals, but am not against traditional approaches and in fact combining clinical with alternative have proven to have the best outcomes. Be prepared to put in the work. There will be homework, and it will be challenging. It could in fact be the most difficult thing that you do, but it is in your best interest.
