I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 25 years of experience helping people, like you, to create meaningful change. I enjoy providing counseling to individuals, couples, and families. Some of my clients have reported feeling overwhelmed, stressed, sad, anxious, or stuck. I spent 14 years in long term and acute care inpatient and outpatient behavioral health settings and 11 years in neurological rehabilitation. I obtained my bachelor’s degree from the University of Louisiana and master’s degree from LSU.
I believe healing happens in a space where your full story is welcomed and respected. I work with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, trauma, depression, and life transitions through a supportive, culturally aware, and collaborative approach.
Many of the clients I support feel emotionally overwhelmed, stuck in patterns that no longer serve them, or exhausted from trying to manage everything on their own. My goal is to help clients better understand themselves, strengthen emotional resilience, and develop practical tools that support healthier daily functioning and long-term healing.
Therapy is personal, and I believe it should feel that way. With nearly nine years of experience, I've learned that meaningful change happens when clients feel comfortable enough to let their guard down and simply be themselves. My sessions are conversational, genuine, and often include humor when it's helpful, so clients frequently leave feeling like they've had a real conversation instead of a formal counseling session while also gaining practical, evidence-based strategies they can apply in everyday life. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), along with other evidence-based approaches, to help clients create lasting change.
Hi, I'm Yasmeen and I know starting therapy can feel like a big, overwhelming step. Maybe you've been putting it off, unsure if it'll actually help or worried about what it'll feel like to open up to someone new. I get it. And I want you to know: this is a space where you can show up exactly as you are, no performance required.
I'm a therapist with a Master's degree from Nicholls State University, and I work with people navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, anger, grief, stress, and relationship or family challenges. Whatever brought you here, you don't have to figure it out alone anymore.
Accepting new patients in MONTANA ONLY. I’m a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and founder of Gage Holistic Psychiatry, committed to providing personalized, holistic care. I specialize in integrative and functional psychiatry, working with LGBTQ+ clients and those navigating hormone-related changes such as perimenopause, menopause, and gender transition. My goal is to treat root causes—not just symptoms—for lasting mental wellness.
