I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Texas at Tyler and have worked in settings like private practice, hospitals, schools, and community programs. I support adolescents, adults, couples, and families facing concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and relationship issues. My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to each person, drawing from methods like CBT, Attachment Based, and family systems work to fit your unique needs. Lalanea (pronounced Luh-Lane-Yah) has worked for years in case management, education, and foster care. Lalanea graduated from Wichita State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Women’s Studies and with a Master of Social Work. Between those degrees, she earned a Master of Public Affairs with a Nonprofit Concentration from UNC Greensboro. Lalanea is a North Carolina board-certified licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) and a Kansas board-certified licensed specialist clinical social worker (LSCSW). Lalanea is located in Kansas and is entirely offering telehealth appointments; however, NC is her other home.
