I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over eight years of experience serving the Lafayette and West Lafayette community. My work has spanned a variety of settings, including child and family services, support for individuals experiencing homelessness, and providing therapy to individuals, couples, and children.
I earned my undergraduate degree in Psychology with a clinical concentration from Purdue University, and my Master of Social Work from the Indiana University School of Social Work. My professional journey has been deeply rooted in supporting some of the most vulnerable populations—through the child welfare system, community mental health, and with university students navigating life transitions.
When emotional challenges begin affecting your relationships, confidence, or daily life, it can be difficult to know where to start. You may be feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, stress, or the impact of difficult experiences. For children and adolescents, these struggles may show up through behavioral changes, emotional outbursts, school difficulties, or challenges connecting with others. Therapy offers a supportive space to better understand what is happening beneath the surface and begin creating meaningful change.
Welcome! I'm glad you're here!
Life doesn't come with a roadmap, and sometimes we all need someone to help us navigate the difficult moments. Whether you're feeling anxious, overwhelmed, stuck or simply ready for a change, therapy can be a place to slow down, gain clarity and reconnect with yourself.
I completed my graduate education at Grace College in 2021, earning a master's degree in clinical mental health counseling. I have worked in several treatment settings, including community mental health, school-based therapy and online intensive outpatient.
I strive to create a welcoming, judgement-free space where you can be your authentic self. Together, we'll explore what's bringing you to therapy, identify your strengths, and develop skills that support meaningful and lasing growth.
With nearly 10 years of experience providing therapy, I believe meaningful change happens when you feel both deeply understood and gently challenged. My style is warm, human, and occasionally sprinkled with humor- because therapy doesn't have to feel cold, clinical, or intimidating to be effective.
I specialize in working with OCD and anxiety, helping clients understand intrusive thoughts, compulsions, and the anxiety cycles that keep them going. Together, we focus on building tolerance for uncertainty, reducing compulsive behaviors, and increasing emotional flexibility.
I also have specialized training and experience in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), and evidence-based therapy approach that helps people process trauma, reduce emotional intensity, and shift long-standing beliefs that no longer serve them.
In addition, I work with individuals navigating major life changes, including high-conflict divorce and the painful realities of parental alienation. These experiences can be isolating, overwhelming, and deeply destabilizing. My approach centers on helping clients regain a sense of grounding, clarity, and agency, while learning practical tools to cope with ongoing stress, grief, and complex family dynamics.
I received my first counseling license in 2015 in Indiana and my License as a Professional Counselor in Texas in 2017. I am EMDR trained. I specialize in trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and Autsim.
I believe that each person holds inherent wisdom needed to transform pain into healing. Although pain is a natural part of life, it doesn't have to define your future. My belief is that through a trusted relationship, you can access an inner sense of safety needed to heal wounds while honoring your unique journey.
I am deeply committed to supporting individuals on their life journey, fostering an environment for healing, transformation, and empowerment through providing accessible mental health services. I hold training and experience in children/adolescent mental health, and utilize the therapeutic powers of play to meet children where they are.
Hello and congratulations for taking the first and sometimes hardest step of looking for a therapist. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the states of IN, KY LA, MO, NV, TX, WA and WV. I have the great privilege of working with adolescents and adults seeking assistance in improving their overall mental health and associated challenges. I’ve been in the behavioral health arena for over 40 years and have held numerous direct care and clinical leadership roles in a variety of settings. My joy comes from helping people navigate life's challenges.
My calling as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker allows me to partner with clients in their places of greatest need, with a focus on complex post-traumatic stress. I employ a combination of talk, somatic and non-verbal eye movement based therapies. We will do deep trauma work while still making room for safety, warmth, and even a little playfulness. Because healing doesn’t have to happen in cold, serious rooms. Sometimes it happens barefoot, holding a fidget, with a sloth nearby and someone beside you who truly sees you.
I have 10+ years of experience doing this work. I'm naturally drawn to people, and bring curiosity regarding your story- diversity of background, personalities, and identities. My special interests include supporting neurodivergence, being queer, going through separations, transitions, and grief- I've worked collaboratively with families, couples, kids, and everybody in between- in schools, in private practice, and a nonprofit I'm passionate about. I'd love to hear your story and empower it.

Find the right therapist for you
Headway makes it easy to find support for your mental health — from finding the right provider, to understanding costs, to scheduling with ease.
Factors to Consider When Choosing a Mental Health Therapist in Indiana
Searching for therapists in Indiana means choosing from many types of licensed professionals across urban, suburban, and rural areas. The right fit depends on what you want support with, such as anxiety, depression, grief, relationship concerns, stress, or major life changes. As you compare Indiana therapists, look for someone whose listed specialties, approach, and experience match your needs. Provider bios can help you understand whether a therapist uses approaches like cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, or trauma-informed care.
Your search may look different in Indianapolis, Fort Wayne, Evansville, Terre Haute, Elkhart, or Muncie. Some people prefer in-person therapy near work, school, or home, while others choose virtual sessions for more scheduling options. Beyond location and format, consider appointment availability, whether a therapist is accepting new patients, and whether a free phone consultation is offered. Reading profiles before booking can help you compare communication style, session structure, and the kinds of concerns each therapist commonly supports.
Therapy in Indiana can be a significant expense without insurance. Using in-network insurance is one of the most reliable ways to reduce session costs and understand what you may pay before your first appointment. Headway makes that process easier by helping you search for licensed therapists in Indiana, enter your insurance details, view estimated out-of-pocket costs, and book directly. Nationally, Headway works with over 100 insurance plans, so you can browse therapists, review bios, and choose a covered option when you’re ready.
