I’m Lisa, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who blends humor, compassion, and curiosity to create a safe space for growth. I serve adults navigating anxiety, ADHD, trauma, or identity questions. My goal is to help you work with your brain—not against it—so you can dig deeper, embrace self-acceptance, and move toward a more authentic, balanced life.

I have spent over 40 years teaching, training, and developing mental health programs for individuals from 4 to 84 find hope once again. I am a life-long learner and add at least one certificate a year to ensure clients are given multiple approaches to what they encounter. I am very honest and direct, but also understand the need for pause and reflection. You know the level of your pain and suffering. My job is to meet you where you are and lead you to the place you want to go.

I have over 8 1/2 years of experience helping adults, children, and families learn how to heal and grow from dysfunction, trauma, addiction, and mental health issues of all kinds. I have worked with people from ages 3-80 years old so I have a multitude of experiences with all kinds of mental health issues including (trauma, depression, anxiety, grief, LGBTQIA+ related issues, and more). I am a licensed marriage and family therapist who has worked in community mental health and online.

Empathetic, but will challenge one to become the best version of themselves. My years of experience afford me a good insight into various mental health disorders. I have a vast background in working with couples, families, and court ordered cases regarding divorce and coparenting. I have worked with diverse populations extensively. I utilize humor to help make the counseling environment warm, fun and engaging.

Hello! I have an BA in psychology from IU and a MEd. in counseling psychology from the U of L. I serve a diverse population. I work with all ages regarding many different concerns. I practice trauma informed care. I approach every client with dignity and respect. I am easy to talk to and work to create a safe, non-judging environment.
