Hello! I am a Master's Level Clinical Therapist with over 4 years of experience counseling. I have a wide variety of clinical experiences from a clinic for teenagers with dangerous behaviors, to private practice in a wealthy suburb. My training and research has focused on trauma, complex family dynamics, anxiety, and neurodivergence (ADHD and autism).
At the heart of my practice is a genuine desire to help people grow. I believe every person has the ability to create a life that feels meaningful, connected, and aligned with their values. My role is to walk alongside clients as they navigate challenges, build new skills, and discover what’s possible for them. My style is warm, direct, and growth‐oriented.
Feeling overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or stuck in patterns that no longer seem to work? Whether you're navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, grief, a major life transition, chronic health concerns, or simply feeling disconnected from yourself, you don't have to go through it alone.
For more than 20 years, I have had the privilege of walking alongside children, adolescents, and adults through some of life's most difficult seasons. My mission is simple: to restore hope, foster healing, and support meaningful personal growth. I provide a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered as we work toward the life you want to live.
With more than thirty-one years in the mental health field, I bring both deep experience and a genuinely warm, unconditional presence to every session. I've had the privilege of working with people at every stage of life — from children as young as three to adults in their late nineties — across settings as varied as military bases, schools, residential programs, nursing facilities, and outpatient clinics. I earned both my bachelor's and master's degrees from the Indiana School of Social Work at IUPUI.
I believe every person has inherent value in this world, and I show up fully in your corner. My approach is collaborative — I work alongside you. Outside of the therapy room, I'm a proud mom of three and grandmother of five (my greatest joys), a dog and cat owner, and someone who recharges through travel, gardening, live music, and time in the outdoors. That human life informs how I connect with the people I work with.
Hi! My name is Angie. I am an LMHC in Indiana and an LPCA in Kentucky.
I studied psychology and linguistics in my undergrad and pursued a career in speech and language therapy. I discovered a passion for mental health and pivoted, after developing a profound respect for the field as a person who found tremendous support and healing in my own therapy journey. I completed my masters in clinical mental health counseling from Concordia University Irvine in 2024. I pursued a teaching institute, Forge Counseling Collective, for my professional development in Colorado for my counseling internship which provided excellent mentorship and supervision. I returned to my home in 2025 to be near my family in Kentuckiana.
I am an LCSW with a Master's of Social Work degree and have been in field over 12 years.
I am dedicated to helping individuals, couples, and parents navigate life's challenges and discover their inherent strengths. My professional background includes experience working with clients to address a wide range of concerns, from feeling overwhelmed to navigating relationship, and parenting struggles. I specialize in evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Mindfulness. In our work together, I focus on collaborative care designed to guide you toward growth, healing, and revitalization.
On a personal level, I enjoy time with my teen daughters & my best friend- my little, not so little puggle dog, Rizzo. I enjoy traveling & exploring beautiful places. I also love to cook and share meals with family & friends. I am passionate about and involved with many social causes on local, national and global levels that keep me busy.
If you're carrying something that's hard to put into words — trauma, grief, chronic stress, infertility, or the particular weight that comes from serving others— you don't have to figure out how to start the conversation. Whether you are struggling in high school, college, or the world of adulting, I'll help with that. I came back to therapy because I noticed a high number of individuals in need but not enough therapists who are able to navigate cultural diversity in therapy.
I am a Guyanese-born American-raised world traveler who has experienced life and appreciates diversity in all aspects. I bring a holistic lens to my private practice, working with adults and families facing PTSD, trauma, infertility, sleep challenges, and the hard parts of life that don't fit into a tidy category.
I believe your mental health, physical health, and sense of purpose are all connected — and we work with all of it.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and National Board‐Certified Health and Wellness Coach with extensive experience in veteran-centered care, higher education, and community mental health. I have extensive knowledge and practice in individual and group interventions. I am also passionate about process improvements in self and organizations. I have contributed to and led Lean Six Sigma process‐improvement initiatives. Prior to my current role at the VA Hospital, I spent nearly a decade as an Assistant Professor of Social Work and held key administrative roles in field education, accreditation, and curriculum development.
My earlier clinical career includes intensive in‐home therapy, crisis intervention, and supervisory leadership supporting high‐risk children, families, and adults. Across all roles, I am known for my commitment to holistic care, spiritually and culturally responsive practice, and the development of systems that enhance learning, wellness, and community impact.
