I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over ten years of experience, working with adults and couples in individual therapy. I draw from Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to support clients facing ADHD, anxiety, depression, domestic violence, grief and loss, self injury, spirituality, substance use, and trauma or PTSD.

I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who believes therapy should feel real, human, and grounded in honest conversation. With experience in community mental health, treatment courts, group work, and clinical supervision, in addition to working with individuals navigating trauma, identity, and personal change. I also teach and mentor future counselors while researching the psychological experiences of individuals living with vitiligo. I bring a little bit of humor into therapy, because let’s face it, in this day and age a little bit of laughing takes stress off our already hectic lives; though when it is time to get serious, we will address all and any issues that may be hindering your pathways of life. Dr. Idowu Oshokoya DNP is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Chicago, IL. He works with adolescents, adults, and older adults, and provides care for patients who are battling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, Bipolars, and other mental disorders. Idowu studied at Walden University, He has extensive training and 10 years of experience with behavioral health.

Ola Omoniyi became an Illinois Certified Nurse Practitioner in 2021. She received her undergraduate degree at Valparaiso University in Indiana and her master’s degree from the University of St. Francis in Joliet. She completed her clinical rotation in mental health at Will County Behavioral Health in Joliet. Ola worked at Rush University Medical Centre for 5 years in the behavioral health unit as a Registered Nurse and 5years at other behavioral health hospitals in Chicago.

My approach to counseling begins with a simple conviction: you are more than a diagnosis, a set of symptoms, or a problem to be solved. You are a whole person living a real life—with relationships, responsibilities, experiences, hopes, beliefs, and circumstances that all matter.

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with nearly two decades of experience in healthcare. I earned my Masters in Nursing at Walden University. Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to care for individuals in psychiatric, emergency, surgical, inpatient, outpatient, and forensic settings. These experiences have shaped my belief that mental health and physical health are deeply connected and that each person deserves care that considers the whole individual.

I provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, medication management, and ongoing mental health support. I have experience working with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, trauma and PTSD, mood disorders, psychotic disorders, and other behavioral health concerns
