Healing and growth doesn't require having it all figured out before you start — it begins with curiosity. Whether you are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, difficult relationships, or simply feeling stuck, therapy can be a place where you slow down, make sense of your experiences, and begin taking steps towards your best possible self.
I'm an LPC in Georgia with over 3 years of experience working with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction, and I especially work well with people who know something needs to change but aren't quite sure where to begin. I've worked especially well with people with addictions, looking for stability and self-sufficiency.

Hi! My name is Elana, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia, I support individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. I have experience working with people of all ages in multiple different settings. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices. Whether you’re coping with overwhelming stress, adjusting to a major life change, or seeking a deeper understanding of yourself, I offer a safe and nonjudgmental space for healing and growth. Together, we’ll work toward greater balance, confidence, and well-being.
My mother taught me and my brothers from a very young age not to ever hate anyone. Her words have been invaluable to me. My father instilled in us boys a mantra that too has served me well. He said to us innumerable times "Listen." Neither of my parents were strict disciplinarians, and they never used corporal punishment. But, from boyhood, through adolescence and into young adulthood, my brothers and I could count on a well-deserved lecture and extra chores if either of my parents ever caught us breaking one of these rules. My parents' philosophy helped steer me into my life's work, and I employ their beliefs daily in my career as a therapist. I believe people seek counseling so they can be accepted, validated and heard. I committed to myself long ago to never hate and to always listen to my patients/clients/consumers, regardless of their behaviors.Validation, empowerment and dignity are what I strive to create, cultivate and reap in every therapeutic alliance into which I enter.
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). I graduated from Lehigh University with a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in Social Psychology and Social Relations while at the same time obtaining an undergraduate Certification in Social Work from Moravian College. In 2007, I returned to school and, in 2009, received a Master of Science in Marriage and Family from Valdosta State University. I have been a therapist for more than 15 years.
It is my honor to meet you. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I believe prioritizing your mental health is one of the best investments you can make in yourself and is essential for lasting happiness and stability. Reaching out for support can be one of the hardest steps, and I respect the courage it takes. For 20 years, I have supported clients ages 4 to 85 with anxiety, depression, coping challenges, and bipolar disorder.
