Looking forward to meeting you!
I am a licensed clinical social worker and master addiction counselor with over 27 years experience supporting individuals through life's challenges. I am committed to creating a safe, supportive space where you feel heard and respected. Together, we problem solve to better understand options and help shift towards the life you want to create.
Incredible change happens in your life when you decide to take control of what do have power over instead of craving control over what you don't. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Georgia with 20+ years of experience working with individuals and families in a variety of settings addressing issues relating to parenting, parent/child relationships, divorce, grief/loss, marital conflicts, behavior, self-esteem, depression, anxiety, communication, trauma, adjustment/life changes, etc.
I would describe my approach to therapy as eclectic, utilizing a variety of modalities to best serve the needs of my client. The modalities that are proven to be most useful are: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Client-Centered Therapy, Gestalt therapy, Solution-focused therapy, Rational emotive therapy, Dialectical Behavior therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing. It is my goal to help you to live your most fulfilling life by enabling you to be your true self. You will spend time exploring ways to grow and increase self-acceptance along with discussing the issues that you are dealing with. I will offer acceptance, empathy, and guidance as you work on personal growth and positive change.
Hi, I’m Eli Metts, a board-certified psychiatric mental health and adult-gerontology nurse practitioner. My background includes outpatient and inpatient psychiatry, addiction medicine, and hospice and palliative care, which have shaped my compassionate, whole-person approach. I strive to create a welcoming space where you feel heard, understood, and comfortable discussing your concerns.
Hi, I'm Ashley, a Licensed Professional Counselor and Reiki II practitioner. I believe that somewhere underneath the anxiety, the self-doubt, and the patterns that keep repeating, there is a version of you that already knows the way. My job isn't to fix you. It's to create a space steady enough that you can actually hear yourself. Together we get curious about the thoughts that won't quiet down, the emotions that feel bigger than the moment, the behaviors that keep showing up even when you don't want them to, and what all of it is actually trying to tell you. I bring tools into our work that help you understand what's happening in your mind and body when you're overwhelmed, so you can actually do something about it instead of just surviving it. But more than any method or modality, I show up as a real person walking alongside you, trusting that you are the expert on your own life.
Are you overwhelmed, having difficulty functioning, or just feeling unlike yourself lately? As someone who was born in Nigeria and has personally navigated cultural adjustment and its stressors, I understand how complex it can feel to find your footing. Drawing on both my lived experience and professional training, I meet you where you are and tailor our work to your unique needs. I use tools like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and motivational interviewing to help you create meaningful, lasting change.
I believe everyone has a unique story and deserves an individualized approach to care. Once we decide to work together, we’ll act as partners in your therapeutic journey. It’s important to me that we communicate openly and you feel respected in our relationship. I’ll be there to listen to you, challenge you, and support you along the way.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker that provides virtual therapy. Hi! Thanks so much for visiting. I am a board-certified psychiatrist who has been in practice since 2012, and before that I practiced internal medicine. I treat individuals age 10 and up in an adult setting. I went to Duke University for pre-med (BS psychology) and then Emory University School of Medicine. I did my internal medicine residency at Emory also, was on staff at Emory, and was also in private practice before I went back to my psychiatry residency (State University at Stony Brook, Chief Resident, 2012).
I bring the dual training and years of experience treating the breadth and depth of psychiatry. I enjoy helping those who have had treatment-resistant conditions, and have a friendly, kind, and collaborative approach.
I treat anyone and EVERYONE who is motivated to get better. I manage the entire spectrum of conditions, and manage tough-to-fix things like OCD and bipolar depression. Because of my personal and family background, I deeply understand the rainbow/gender-divergent and neuro-divergent folks, and folks with anxiety and ADHD. :). We can absolutely discuss gender-affirming care in California, and in Georgia and Florida, within the scope of local laws. I am a strong believer that trans care saves lives,
Please note:
-Self-pay rates are $460 for intakes and $230 for follow up appointments (half-hour).

-I will be in Atlanta and the SF Bay Area to see patients live once every 4-6 weeks or so. On-line is primary.
I have two locations in the Bay Area for live visits, and will have two in LA as above, and continue to see people in Buckhead, Atlanta.
