Hi, I’m Elizabeth, a Licensed Professional Counselor who believes therapy is a collaborative process built on trust and the belief that every person has the capacity for growth. I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while developing tools to create meaningful change. I specialize in working with individuals navigating addiction, trauma, anxiety, and other life stressors using a strengths-based approach and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques tailored to each client’s individual needs.

I’ve spent years sitting with people at their lowest—through addiction, crisis, and the kind of pain that can make life feel unmanageable. That work taught me something I bring into every session now: nobody is “too much,” and no story is too messy. These days, I’m more focused on slower, steadier work. Whether you’re worn down by depression, gripping through stress, or finally ready to be honest about drinking or using, I’ll meet you where you are with steadiness, honesty, and compassion. Hi, I’m Samantha Adams, a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia with over a decade of experience supporting adults and teens through anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and major life transitions. I specialize in working with women navigating perimenopause, relationship challenges, and generational or attachment wounds. My approach is open-minded, nonjudgmental, and direct. I believe you are the expert in your life—and I’m here to walk alongside you as you reclaim your voice, process past pain, and build the skills you need to move forward.

I hold a master’s degree in counseling and have worked in a variety of settings, including schools, crisis centers, inpatient, and outpatient care. I draw from Attachment Theory, ACT, CBT, Mindfulness, and trauma-informed practices to create a space where healing and lasting change can happen.

I have been counselling since 2007 and I specialized in working with people with depression, anxiety, trauma, psychosis, mood disorder, relationship.

Sometimes the hardest part of therapy is showing up before you even know what you want out of it. If you're feeling stuck, frustrated, or like something needs to change but you can't quite name what, that's exactly where we start. I work with teens, adults, and older adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, anger, and the kind of life experiences that feel too big to sort out alone.
