Welcome. I’m glad you’re here. Reaching out for therapy can feel intimidating, especially when you or your child are carrying big emotions, past experiences, or relationship stress. Many of the clients I work with feel overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to move forward. I strive to create a space where you feel safe, respected, and supported as you begin this process.
Glad you stopped by! I am board-certified psychiatrist specializing in the care of adults, children, and adolescents, with over 17 years of clinical experience. An excellent listener, I provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment for a wide range of mental health conditions.
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Human Services, I completed Certified Peer Specialist training during the semester break from my Master's program. I earned my Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Georgia. Life experiences can affect our mood, mental well-being, physical health and emotional stability. They can shake our confidence and self-esteem. There is hope!
I’m Jonathan Del Valle, LCSW, a bilingual English and Spanish psychotherapist trained in EMDR. I work with adults navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, relationships, identity, and major life changes. I have a special interest in working with LGBTQIA+ and Latino communities, and my approach is warm, conversational, culturally responsive, and centered on helping you feel comfortable being yourself in therapy.
I believe my job as a therapist is to help tap into your most authentic self, and walk alongside you with whatever struggles there may be. My approach to therapy is direct, with the use of humor, analogies, and metaphors; I try to bring every thing together to help make sense in a world that can be confusing. Together we can tackle whatever difficult situation may be occurring in your life and get to the other side.
I am deeply committed to providing compassionate, respectful, and individualized care. I value creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can be yourself and feel truly heard.
My background and training have equipped me to use a variety of evidence-based approaches to support mental health and well-being. I believe in working together as a team, ensuring that your voice and preferences are always part of the decision-making process.
Above all, I am here to support you in a way that feels approachable, practical, and aligned with your personal goals.
