Hi, my name is Jordan Keener and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who provides treatment to adolescents, adults, couples, and families. I received my Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Georgia. Typically I work with clients with a variation of presenting issues, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship and family conflict, life stress, etc. My goal is to help empower others through providing grace during hard moments in life.

My approach combines evidence-based medication management with practical therapy skills and lifestyle support to treat the whole person, not just symptoms. Beginning my practice decades ago as a combat trauma therapist, I have found myself dealing with the traumas of early life and relationships with most my adolescent and adult clients. I believe counseling can offer many “tools”, to cope, however, I prefer to help people heal so that coping becomes an infrequent need.
