Let’s take the journey together — to heal, to grow, and to put you back at the center of your life.
My journey started with volunteering in the Guidance Counselor's office at my high school. In this setting, my emotional intelligence and level of empathy began to grow. I decided to study Psychology to understand how the mind works, then studied Social Work to understand how that mind works when affected by events in the environment. I have worked extensively with children/ students, the LGBTQIA+ community, people living with HIV/ AIDS, the elderly, Veterans, Immigrants, couples and families. I accept clients no matter their race, gender, ethnicity or background. I utilize a strength- based approach for my clients as I believe we all have the ability to take control of our own lives.
Dr. Sikirat is dual License board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse practitioner with over 20 years experience in clinical practice. I specialize in supporting individuals, couples, and families who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected. Many clients come to me during chapters of life that feel confusing or chaotic. Together, we slow things down. We work to understand what's driving the pain, identify what you truly need, and develop practical skills to move forward with confidence and clarity.
My clinical background includes addiction counseling, family dynamics, grief work, trauma-informed care, and supporting clients who have experienced unstable relationships, emotional dysregulation, or long-standing stress. I provide a non-judgemental environment where honesty is welcomed, growth is supported, and you don't have to pretend to be ok.
Therapy with me is active- we talk, plan, reflect, and practice new ways of thinking and coping. You will always leave the session with insight, direction, and support you can apply to everyday life. If you are ready to start healing, reconnect with yourself, and build healthier relationships, I'm here to walk with you. Reach out to schedule a consultation.
