Hi, I'm Gamaelle Lubin, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience supporting children and adolescents. If you're a parent worried about your child — or a young person feeling overwhelmed — I'm here to help you feel heard, understood, and equipped with real tools to move forward.
For the past three years I've focused on the unique emotional and behavioral needs of youth, helping them navigate challenges and build lasting resilience. I work with children and teens facing anxiety, anger management, OCD, ADHD, oppositional defiant disorder (ODD), and other behavioral concerns. I earned my Master's in Social Work from Florida International University, and I'm deeply committed to fostering growth, healing, and empowerment in the individuals and families I serve.
My approach is integrative and evidence-based, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Play Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) — tailored to each client rather than one-size-fits-all.
Figuring out who you are, and where you fit, can feel overwhelming, especially when you're carrying anxiety, family stress, relationship challenges, or feeling disconnected from yourself. Therapy can be a space where you don't have to have everything figured out.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I work with children, adolescents, adults, and families to create a supportive, affirming environment where people feel safe showing up exactly as they are. Many of the clients I work with are navigating anxiety, identity exploration, family conflict, relationship concerns, stress, or major life transitions. My goal is to help you better understand yourself, build on your strengths, and develop practical tools that support confidence, resilience, and meaningful growth.
I chose to practice as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner because I am passionate about helping individuals improve their mental health and overall quality of life. Mental health challenges can significantly affect every aspect of a person’s well-being, relationships, and daily functioning, and I believe compassionate, patient-centered care can make a meaningful difference.
I'm so glad you're here! While I look forward to hearing more about you, here's a bit about me...Sara Blomeling DeRoo LCSW/LMSW is a clinical therapist with extensive experience in dealing with issues of adjustment, grief, depression, anxiety, trauma, adoption and parenting. She has worked as a trauma -informed clinician in private practice, leadership positions in child welfare, and juvenile justice as well as other fields of practice. Sara also specializes in working with diverse populations and is an avid supporter and champion of social justice issues.
Sara originally hails from Michigan and is an adoptee, adoptive parent, and former foster parent. She is an author and musician in her spare time and is enjoying her new home in sunny Florida.
I got my start working in a residential setting, supporting people through serious mental health challenges, trauma, and addiction. That experience shaped how I see therapy, it’s not just clinical, it’s about feeling understood and not alone in what you’re going through. I now work with people dealing with things like trauma, emotional ups and downs, and substance use, and I’m trained in EMDR. While I have experience with more intense situations, I also work with people who feel stuck, reactive, or disconnected and want to understand why.
Hi, I'm Connolly D'Souza. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified Addictions Professional, and Certified Trauma Specialist. I support individuals navigating trauma, substance use, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. I offer a warm, nonjudgmental space where you can feel safe, heard, and supported.
Growing up in the Bronx as a first-generation Dominican American shaped how I think about mental health — and who I became as a therapist.
I'm Yesenia Aponte, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and psychotherapist. I've spent 8 years working with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and the specific weight of living between cultures. I work with clients from all backgrounds, but I have a particular connection to clients from immigrant families, Latinx communities, and anyone who's ever felt like a therapist didn't fully understand their world.
I got into this work because mental health support wasn't always visible or accessible in communities like the one I grew up in. Beyond my practice, I'm involved in community outreach and advocacy to make mental health less stigmatized and more reachable — especially for people who've been told it's not "for them."
I also offer therapy in both English and Spanish.
