My background includes inpatient and outpatient therapy, drug and alcohol treatment, correctional settings, foster care, and work with children and families. My name is Mia Dorman and I am a Therapist/ Licensed Clinical Social Worker who believes that if you do the work on yourself you can build the resiliency to live the life that you desire. I am licensed in Delaware Pennsylvania and Maryland. My philosophy is that I live to RESTORE HOPE in people especially my clients. The word HOPE is filled with having the expectation of finding out what you want out of life or of bringing back what has inspired you to achieve your goals in the past. In life, people can deal with many experiences that can make life difficult. I would like to help you learn how to cope with the ups and downs of life. Through the use of my knowledge and training, I specialize in helping clients overcome depression, seasonal issues, bipolar disorder and anxiety/social anxiety, I have the tools to work with those clients who are experiencing grief and loss. I do not have the expertise to work with clients who have ADHD and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. I focus on doing therapy through telehealth. I work with clients who are 18 years and above. I have worked in inpatient and outpatient settings. I have worked at schools, hospitals, small agencies and large agencies. I have been in the field for over 20 years and I love working with clients.
Dr. Maher is a licensed psychologist specializing in individual psychotherapy for adults. With extensive experience in treating anxiety, depression, trauma, anger, and stress management, Dr. Maher is dedicated to helping clients achieve meaningful, lasting change. His approach is often described as "down-to-earth," fostering an environment where clients feel comfortable, understood, and motivated to engage in their therapeutic journey.
Having worked in a variety of clinical settings, including hospitals and outpatient clinics, Dr. Maher brings a wealth of experience in addressing the diverse challenges his clients face. He offers a compassionate, non-judgmental approach, tailoring each session to the unique needs and goals of the individual. His therapeutic style integrates a variety of evidence-based techniques, including motivational interviewing, mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR), and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), to help clients build resilience, manage stress, and improve emotional well-being.

I'm Cassi Pinder, the EMDR specialist helping people thrive after trauma. I am trained as a Professional Counselor. During my academic training, in addition to my degree, I am EMDR trained. After my academic training, I started working at MeadowWood Behavioral Hospital, an acute psychiatric unit. I worked with adolescents, substance abuse, and adult clients. I have worked with the Kent County Health Department implementing substance abuse prevention programs in middle and high schools. I believe in the old proverb "an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure". Since 2016, I have been working with the Community Behavioral Health providing services in an outpatient setting.
