Therapy should be as unique as the individual seeking it—what works for one person may not work for another. I provide a relaxed, welcoming environment where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences at your own pace. My approach is grounded in attachment theory and psychodynamic therapy, meaning I help clients uncover how past relationships and experiences shape their current patterns, behaviors, and emotional well-being
I believe that most people already have a deep understanding of themselves and what they need, it can just be difficult to access that understanding when we’re overwhelmed, stuck, or caught in patterns that no longer serve us.
As a systems therapist, I look beyond the individual to understand the relationships, experiences, and environments that shape how we think, feel, and respond. I’m particularly interested in helping people understand interpersonal conflict and the patterns that develop between us, whether with a partner, family member, friend, or colleague.
I want to help you help yourself. I believe everyone is capable of change and I will teach you skills to use everyday.
Welcome to my page! I've been practicing clinical social work for 9 years. I graduated from Fordham University with a Masters in Social Work. My clinical experience ranges from individual therapy, group therapy, intensive outpatient therapy, to working with families in-home. My areas of specialty include working with patients with Anxiety, Depression, life transitions, and Borderline Personality D/O from ages 18-65+.
I understand that the decision to seek help for mental health needs can be a nerve-racking and scary process. When it comes to patient care, I am most passionate about the preservation of dignity and making my patients feel seen. I meet fear or nervousness with acceptance, encouragement, and knowledge.
