Hi! I'm Molly. I love being a therapist and feel so honored to be trusted with the tender work of healing. I'm a licensed clinical social worker, which basically just means that I'm a therapist who looks at both the person and their relationship with their larger environment. I've worked with ages 1-70+, diagnoses across the board, and in a variety of settings - a psychiatric hospital, medical detox for substance use, community mental health, intensive outpatient, residential, and in-home. Maybe you've been in some of those settings yourself! Wherever your path has taken you, I'm happy to walk alongside you in this present chapter.
Two decades of clinical excellence.
Dr. Cindy Ruelas-Tafolla's path to becoming a clinician began at age 13 with the sudden loss of her father — an experience that planted the seed of her life's purpose: to be the kind of support she needed during her own darkest moments.
She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Law and Society from UC Santa Barbara, her Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California, and her Doctorate in Social Work (DSW) from USC.
Over two decades, she has served as a Medical Social Worker, Case Manager, and Behavioral Health Therapist — bringing doctoral-level depth, board-certified credentials, and genuine compassion to every client she works with.
I believe we all have unique strengths that can help us navigate life’s challenges. Seeking out support through counseling is one way to re-discover and to cultivate those strengths. I work with adolescents and adults to assist them through life’s ups and downs. I am LGBTQ+ allied and affirming and I utilize a multicultural approach when working with clients. I welcome you to come as you are— I will meet you wherever you are at.
Hello! I approach therapy with a focus on unconscious patterns which have been shaping my clients' experiences. It is an adventure we take together. When appropriate, I draw from a rich experience in philosophy and the arts to deepen the rapport. My personal experience with recovery from depression and addiction factor in as well.
I’m Dr. Pearson, and I draw on over 30 years of counseling experience helping individuals, couples, marriages, families, teens, children, and organizations work through life’s challenges. I support clients dealing with depression, anxiety, stress, anger, relationship issues, family conflict, addiction and alcohol concerns, military-related stress, and major life transitions. My background includes working with people across many stages of life, including active-duty military members, veterans, DoD staff, military families, couples preparing for marriage, families under stress, and individuals seeking healthier ways to live at home, at work, and in their relationships. I believe therapy should offer hope, practical support, and a clear path toward healthy change.
I use Post-Induction Therapy to heal relational trauma. I have worked everywhere from juevnille correctional settings to affluent Residential Facilities with Professional adults. I honor all clients to be completely understood and how it impacts Love for ourselves, Family and Spiritual engagement. My earnest hope is that we develop courage (Animo) and no client feels like they are wasting time in therapy.
I believe therapy is most effective when it's rooted in collaboration and connection. The therapeutic relationship is the foundation of meaningful change, and I work to create a space where clients feel genuinely heard, respected, and supported as full partners in the process. Over the course of my career, I've had the privilege of working in both community-based organizations and private practice — experiences that have shaped a flexible, grounded perspective on how people heal and grow. I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and earned my Master of Social Work degree from Florida State University. Outside of formal training, I'm committed to continued learning so that I can show up for every client with curiosity, presence, and care.
With over a decade of experience as a school counselor in the public system, I have dedicated my career to helping adolescents navigate the turbulent waters of modern growth. I believe in a holistic approach—partnering with parents to foster resilience, academic success, and strong family communication.
Beyond the classroom, I hold a deep, personal commitment to women’s ministry. I provide a sacred, confidential space for women navigating the pain of divorce or seeking healing through post-abortion recovery. My practice is founded on the belief that no matter the complexity of your past, there is a clear, hopeful path to restoration.
Whether I’m guiding a student toward their future or walking alongside a woman through her deepest season of healing, my mission is to ensure every person feels seen, valued, and empowered.

Factors to Consider When Choosing an Addiction Therapist in Woodland Park, CO
Searching for therapists in Woodland Park starts with knowing what kind of support you want and which specialties match your needs. Therapists can support people living with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, and life transitions. As you compare options, look for a therapist whose listed specialties, training, and therapy approach align with what you want to focus on. A bio that mentions approaches like cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, or eye movement desensitization and reprocessing can help you understand how a therapist may structure care.
In a smaller city like Woodland Park, the number of nearby in-person therapists may be more limited than in larger Colorado markets. Virtual therapy can expand your options while still connecting you with a therapist licensed in Colorado. Consider practical factors like appointment availability, scheduling flexibility, whether the therapist is accepting new clients, and whether they offer a free phone consultation. Reading therapist profiles before booking can also help you compare communication style, areas of focus, and what to expect in a first session.
Therapy in Woodland Park can be a significant investment without insurance. Using in-network insurance is one of the most reliable ways to reduce session costs and make ongoing care easier to plan for. Headway helps you find therapists who accept a wide range of insurance plans, verify your benefits, and see an estimated cost before you book. You can browse therapists, review bios, and book directly when you’re ready.
