I’ve known since a young age that I wanted to be a counselor. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Colorado and my Master of Education in Clinical and School Counseling from the University of Phoenix, followed by two years of study at the Denver Seminary focusing on integrating faith into counseling. My professional journey began as a middle school counselor before moving into clinic-based therapy. Today, my primary passions are parent coaching and supporting individuals navigating anxiety and depression."

"I work with adults who are looking to take a holistic approach to managing their mental health".
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Addiction Counselor in the state of Colorado. I have 30 years of professional work experience in Behavioral Health and Recovery Services treating adults and families with a variety of presenting issues, including stress, anxiety, depression, coping with addictions, trauma, grief and loss, relationship issues, and career challenges. Hi, I’m Tyler Lange. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas and Colorado, as well as an LPC Supervisor in Texas. For more than a decade, I’ve had the privilege of supporting children, families, and individuals through seasons of challenge, growth, and renewal. My work—as a School Counselor, school‐based mental health professional, and now a Clinical Mental Health Therapist—has continually reinforced my belief in the importance of compassion, dignity, and genuine human connection.
I earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology and my master’s degree in Counselor Education from Southeastern Louisiana University, and later attended Capella University’s PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision program to obtain my supervisor credential. While my training has shaped my clinical approach, the people I’ve walked alongside have shaped my purpose.
At the center of my work is a quiet but steady conviction: every person carries inherent worth, and healing becomes possible when they are met with patience, grace, and a safe place to be fully themselves. I strive to create that kind of space—one where people feel supported, understood, and free to move toward wholeness at their own pace.
My professional background includes working in Rikers Island as a therapist, working as a virtual EAP provider as well as private practice. My specific areas are individual therapy of those 13 years and older, with a heavy focus on trauma therapy and gender affirming care. My goal as a therapist is to create a safe space while also challenging you when necessary. I tend to be more direct and value building a strong therapeutic relationship above all.
You have probably been managing this longer than you let on, to yourself or to the people around you.
I work with people across every stage of life, from children and teenagers to adults and seniors, and I have been doing this work long enough to know that no two people carry things the same way. Whether you are navigating anxiety, processing something painful from your past, managing shifts in mood, or simply trying to figure out who you want to become, I want to help you get there. My goal is to help you find the version of yourself that you actually want to be.
