I'm a proud product of two distinct states: I spent my formative years growing up in Colorado before a major shift landed me in Pflugerville, Texas, as a high school junior.

That move—especially navigating a new culture and community during those challenging teenage years—was a profound adjustment period. It was this early, personal experience with transition and change that fundamentally shaped my path and inspired me to choose counseling as my career. Now, I carry the influence of both states with me.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience working with children and families. I believe in the importance of prioritizing self care and our mental health needs are so important for that! My goal is to partner with you and navigate through the journey towards reaching your goals.

Hi there, my name is Liz, and I am a therapist who specializes in trauma, grief, adjustment, depression, relationship struggles, neurodivergence, adapting to chronic or terminal illness changes, men's issues, and women's issues. I value creating a space to allow you to process safely and openly. In the past, I have enjoyed working with all ages, but I currently only work with clients 15+. I have over 36 years of clinical experience working with a wide variety of clinical disorders. I offer services to a multitude of client populations. I also conduct individual, couples and family therapy sessions.

In our work together, I will take time to listen and create a personalized plan that blends modern psychiatry with holistic care, always with curiosity, compassion, and a whole-person lens. I combine psychiatry with integrative wellness to support both mind and body. My journey began in yoga and doula work, and over the past 20 years I’ve also worked in nutrition, eating disorder treatment, community mental health, private practice and pediatric emergency medicine.

With a background in Psychology (Washburn University) and a Master’s in Social Work (University of Denver), I bring both education and empathy to my practice. I specialize in supporting adults and teens navigating anxiety, trauma, and the challenges of living as neurodivergent individuals in a world that doesn’t always fit. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in evidence-based practices that honor each client’s unique story. I also hold a certificate in Human–Animal–Environment Interactions, which deepens my understanding of connection, healing, and growth.

I’m a Colorado-based licensed therapist with over 10 years of experience in the mental health field. I earned my Master of Social Work from the University of Missouri–Kansas City and work primarily with adults who are high-functioning on the outside but feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected on the inside. Many of my clients struggle with anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, or life transitions, even while appearing capable and put-together to others. My approach is collaborative, thoughtful, and tailored to each individual, with an emphasis on understanding patterns, increasing self-awareness, and creating space for meaningful and lasting change.
