I provide telehealth psychiatric care with a focus on medication management for anxiety, mood disorders, ADHD, and sleep concerns in children, teens, and adults. My goal is to support individuals not only through mental health challenges but also with their overall physical health, understanding that the two are deeply connected.

Hi, I'm Dr. Ruma Mian, a board-certified general psychiatrist and founder of Texas Triangle Adult Psychiatry. I believe every person is unique, and the best care begins by understanding your individual story. I have a diverse background in helping individuals struggling with depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, insomnia and other mental health conditions that are distressing. I aim to help individuals who feel overwhelmed, stuck, and may be struggling to find balance and transform turning points into new beginnings.

In addition to running a private clinic, I am also an Attending and Assistant Professor of Medicine at a local hospital in the Houston area. I completed my residency at the Carilion Clinic Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine.

Outside of medicine, my hobbies include enjoying the beautiful outdoors and riding my bike on a new trail.

I am a board-certified Family Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I've worked in different practice settings, including private practice, community mental health, homeless and correctional services, and addiction. I treat and manage a range of disorders ( depression, anxiety, bipolar, schizophrenia, PTSD, OCD, addictions, etc).

Gabriela Mimbela is a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner experienced in treating mental health disorders across the life span. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from The University of Texas at El Paso after completing her Master’s of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a focus on mental health. She received specialized training in treatment of mental health issues in children, adolescents, and the elderly, as well as in addressing substance use disorders.

I bring years of experience to my work with individuals and families struggling with mental health challenges. I have worked exclusively in outpatient mental health since completing my studies, and I am deeply committed to empowering my clients to thrive. As a mother of five children - including one who passed at a young age - and a bonus child, I understand firsthand the important role that mental health plays in our overall well-being and happiness. Ikra Ashrafi, PMHNP-BC is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with over eight years of experience in mental health care. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Nova Southeastern University and her Master of Science in Nursing from Drexel University.
