I'm Dr. Ben Osevwe, a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with more than 22 years of experience in mental health care, including over 4.5 years as a PMHNP. I founded Solid Foundation Psychiatry with one mission: to provide compassionate, evidence-based, and personalized psychiatric care that empowers individuals to live healthier, more fulfilling lives.

I work with adolescents and adults ages 12 through 90, providing comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and supportive psychotherapy. I believe that effective mental health treatment goes beyond prescribing medication. Every visit is an opportunity to listen, educate, collaborate, and develop a treatment plan that reflects your unique goals, values, and life circumstances.

Dr. Adolf Malik, DNP, APRN, completed his master’s degree at the University of North Carolina in Greensboro, followed by a post-master’s and a doctoral degree in nursing practice at Winston-Salem State University, NC. He also completed a post-doctoral degree in psychiatric mental health practice at Frontier Nursing University. He is board-certified in Adult, Child, and Adolescent Psychiatry; a Family Nurse Practitioner, a DOT Medical Examiner, and a SAMHSA (X-Waiver) addiction provider.

I am a passionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to helping preteens, adolescents, and young adults who are grappling with the complexities of mental health disorders, such as anxiety and depression. My clients are overwhelmed by their emotions, struggling to manage daily responsibilities, relationships, and academic pressures. They may feel sad, hopeless, or experience intense anxiety that interferes with their ability to function and thrive.
