I'm Dr. Ben Osevwe, a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with more than 22 years of experience in mental health care, including over 4.5 years as a PMHNP. I founded Solid Foundation Psychiatry with one mission in mind: to provide compassionate, evidence-based, and personalized psychiatric care that empowers individuals to live healthier, more fulfilling lives.

I work with adolescents and adults ages 12 through 90, providing comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and supportive psychotherapy. I believe that effective mental health treatment goes beyond prescribing medication. Every visit is an opportunity to listen, educate, collaborate, and develop a treatment plan that reflects your unique goals, values, and life circumstances.

My training has focused on assessing, diagnosing, and treating conditions such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, trauma-related disorders, and substance use, using both medication management and psychotherapy. I completed advanced graduate education in psychiatric-mental health nursing, which prepared me to provide holistic, evidence-based care across the lifespan and to collaborate closely with other members of the treatment team.
