PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING, thank you.
I am a board-certified Psychiatrist (medical doctor) providing virtual care throughout NY and PA. I taper medications. This means most of my patients want to safely reduce or ultimately stop taking psychiatric medications, and I guide them through that process safely and at their own pace. I include therapy in my 30-min follow up sessions, though do not offer weekly 1-hour therapy sessions. Many of my patients also work with a therapist.
My passion is to help others achieve wellness. I am a board certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with over 10 years of experience. I currently work both inpatient and outpatient facilities within New York City. I specialize in the diagnoses and treatment of adults with a range of mental health issues.
I offer comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, individual psychotherapy and medication management for adults. My goal is to explore each of my patient's situations and issues judiciously before arriving at appropriate diagnosis and treatment plan.
My patients often say that I am approachable, personable, and respond quickly to emails/phone calls. I am accepting new patients.
Greetings & welcome. As a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I offer brief therapy & medication management to adolescents & adults. Medication is not the best fit for everyone & together we can find your path.
I hold a certification in Wellness Counseling from Cornell University & believe that diet, activity and spending time doing what nourishes you, all contribute to healing. Together we can explore your goals & treatment options.
I am a Board-Certified Family Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 11 years of experience as a Psychiatric Registered Nurse. I provide compassionate, evidence-based care to individuals across the lifespan.
I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, and trauma-related conditions. My approach is patient-centered and collaborative, creating a safe and nonjudgmental space where you feel heard and supported.
I offer medication management along with supportive therapy, psychoeducation, and guidance on lifestyle changes to promote overall mental wellness.
My goal is to help you achieve stability, build resilience, and improve your quality of life. I look forward to working with you on your mental health journey.

Find the right psychiatrist for you
Headway makes it easy to find support for your mental health — from finding the right provider, to understanding costs, to scheduling with ease.
Factors to Consider When Choosing a Psychiatrist in Staten Island, NY
Finding psychiatrists in Staten Island starts with understanding which type of mental health care fits your needs. Psychiatrists and psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners can diagnose conditions and prescribe medication; therapists focus on talk therapy. Medication management often includes an evaluation, follow-up visits, and adjustments guided by your clinician. People often look for psychiatric care for anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, OCD, and related concerns. As you compare options, look for a psychiatrist whose listed specialties, experience, and care approach match what you want support with.
Local psychiatry options in Staten Island may be more limited than in larger parts of New York City, so virtual appointments can help expand your search while keeping care covered through your plan. Consider practical fit alongside clinical fit, including appointment times, whether the psychiatrist is accepting new patients, and whether in-person or virtual care works better for your schedule. Medication management visits are often shorter and less frequent than therapy sessions. Some psychiatrists also offer therapy, and some people work with both a therapist and a prescriber. Reading bios before booking can help you understand a psychiatrist’s communication style, areas of focus, and what to expect in the first visit.
Psychiatric care in Staten Island can be a significant expense without insurance. Using in-network insurance is one of the most reliable ways to reduce session costs and see your estimated price before you book. Headway helps you find psychiatrists who match your preferences, accept your plan, and are accepting new patients. You can compare profiles, check virtual and in-person availability, and book directly when you’re ready.
If you're already taking psychiatric medication and considering switching providers, talk to your current prescriber before changing or stopping any medication — most psychiatric medications shouldn't be stopped abruptly. Anyone experiencing thoughts of self-harm or in acute crisis should call 988 or go to the nearest emergency department rather than wait for an outpatient appointment.
