My training includes a general psychiatry residency in New Jersey and an advanced Addiction Psychiatry/NIDA‐T32 Research Fellowship at Columbia University in New York City, where I received specialized experience in the treatment of substance use disorders, comorbidity, and academic research.

I have 8 years of nursing experience working with children as young as 6 years and older across inpatient and outpatient settings. Depression, Anxiety, ADHD, ODD, bipolar and psychotic disorders are some of the areas I have expertise in.

I am a Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner specializing in medication management and psychiatric evaluations. As an ER nurse for 15 years in the Psychiatric emergency department and spending the first half of my Nurse practitioner career on an inpatient psychiatric unit before going to outpatient, I have been there with people and helped them through their roughest days. Through medication managed crisis intervention work in these areas, I have learned to support your journey through medication stabilization, a lot of humor about the triggers and stressors life gives us and foundational guidance.

I help you simplify your medications and narrow down to 1-2 medications that work best for you. My patients would describe me as thoughtful and caring. I strive for patient focused care and manage symptoms with medications that you feel comfortable taking. You set the pace of your treatment. I believe in informed and collaborative decision making.

I’m Linda Orji, a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with over Eleven years of experience in health care. I earned my Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Rochester in Rochester, NY. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of caring for individuals with both medical and psychiatric conditions, which deepened my understanding of the powerful connection between the mind, body, and overall well-being.
