Life can get heavy, and sometimes you get to a point where you know something needs to change, you just may not know where to start. That’s where I can help. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, anger, grief, major life changes, or just trying to make sense of everything you’ve been carrying, we can work through it together.
I work with children, teens, and adults, with a special passion for supporting at-risk youth, justice-involved individuals, and people who may feel like they’ve been judged, misunderstood, or overlooked. You don’t have to come into therapy with the right words or have everything figured out. Come as you are. We’ll start there and work toward where you want to be.
If you're navigating a life transition, or dealing with ADHD, OCD, anxiety, or depression, I'd love to work with you. I'm currently accepting older teens and adults for telehealth appointments, and I bring a wide range of evidence-based tools to our work together.
A little about my background: I served in the US Army before earning my Bachelor's and Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Since then, I've worked in psychiatric hospitals, residential care, and outpatient settings. I take my work seriously, but also try to keep things light-hearted when necessary. I'm pretty laid back, and I think that comes through pretty quickly once we start talking. I have also learned to cope and coexist ADHD, have experienced major depressive episodes, and overcome struggles with OCD.
Hello! I'm a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner serving individuals of all ages throughout Wisconsin. I believe mental health care should feel approachable, supportive, and free from judgment. Whether you're seeking help for the first time or returning to care, my goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable being yourself and discussing what's on your mind.
I am a warm, empowering therapist who believes healing involves the whole person. I focus on anxiety, depression, maternal mental health, trauma, and PTSD, while honoring how closely the mind and body are connected. As an empath, I tune in thoughtfully to your experiences and distressing symptoms so you can feel understood, supported, and less alone as we work together toward meaningful change.
About Me
Hello and welcome. You don't need to have everything figured out before seeking help. We can start where you are, identify what's getting in the way, and develop a path toward where you want to be.
The answers may be closer than you think.
I bring over 18 years of clinical counseling experience and graduate education in Christian Counseling, Rehabilitation Psychology, and Industrial-Organizational Psychology. My training extends to Family-Divorce Mediation, and Guardian Ad Litem applications although I am not an attorney in order to assist with the complexities of mental health challenges in divorce, custody and seperation contexts. For those seeking to restore their relationship, my Gottman relationship training focuses on helping distressed couples improve communication, reconnect, repair relationship injuries, and explore reconciliation.
My experience includes working within private practice, psychiatric hospitals, dual-diagnosis and residential programs, healthcare, and military settings. I have supported attorneys, doctors, police officers, engineers, CEO's, professional and paraprofessional workers, college students, educators, health care professionals, and veterans and active-duty service members and military families.
I work with couples, adults, seniors, adolescents, veterans, and professionals facing relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, chronic illness, men's issues, workplace stress, life transitions, and faith-related concerns.
My approach is compassionate, practical, collaborative, and solution-focused. Together, we identify patterns contributing to distress, develop practical skills, strengthen healthy coping, and work toward meaningful change.
I accept Blue Cross Blue Shield, United HealthCare, Optum, Medicare, TRICARE, and many other insurance plans. Coverage can be verified before services begin.

Factors to Consider When Choosing a Therapist in Wisconsin
Searching for therapists in Wisconsin starts with finding someone whose experience fits what you want to address. Across the state, available care can vary between larger cities, smaller towns, and rural areas, so it helps to compare therapists by specialty and approach. You may want support with anxiety, depression, ADHD, relationship concerns, grief, trauma, or life transitions. As you review Wisconsin therapists, look for training, specialties, and therapy styles that match your needs, such as cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, trauma-informed care, or support for a specific population.
Practical fit matters, too. In Milwaukee, Madison, Green Bay, and other parts of Wisconsin, you may find different options for in-person and virtual therapy based on therapist location and schedule. Some people prefer meeting in an office, while others choose virtual sessions because they fit more easily into work, school, caregiving, or travel routines. Before booking, review each therapist’s profile for appointment availability, whether they offer a free phone consultation, and how they describe their session style. These details can help you decide whether the therapist’s approach and schedule fit what you’re looking for.
The cost of mental health care in Wisconsin varies, and therapy can be a significant expense without insurance. Using in-network insurance is one of the most reliable ways to reduce session costs. With Headway, you can search therapists by insurance, add your plan details, and see an estimated out-of-pocket cost before you book. Nationally, Headway partners with over 100 insurance plans, and every therapist listed is accepting new patients, making it easier to find a therapist in your network, review bios, and book directly when you’re ready.
