I believe healing happens best in relationships built on authenticity, curiosity, and compassion. Whether we're talking in the office or walking a wooded trail, my approach is grounded, collaborative, and tailored to you.
My personal philosophy of counseling would be to provide a positive, safe, and comfortable environment to establish a rapport for a healthy client-counselor relationship. This will help to empower the individual to be open to a path of healing, growth, resolution, and self-discovery.
The client will be working towards self-exploration to find answers and solutions to any obstacles in their life. I hope to help them explore, identify, and meet their challenges.
I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist providing virtual ADHD therapy for individuals, couples, and families struggling with overwhelm, emotional exhaustion, relationship stress, and chronic follow-through difficulties.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent over 20 years as a Life Coach and ADHD Coach, studying and working exclusively with one condition: Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). That experience gave me firsthand insight into how deeply ADHD can affect confidence, relationships, emotional regulation, organization, and everyday functioning over time.
This foundation allows me to help individuals, couples, and families address the emotional and relational patterns that often develop after years of feeling overwhelmed, misunderstood, disorganized, or mentally overloaded. My work centers on helping individuals, couples, and families address relationship patterns, strengthen emotional awareness, and develop executive functioning tools that truly align with the ADHD brain.
I believe that everyone deserves a safe place to be heard without judgment. My approach is warm, genuine, and collaborative, and I strive to create an environment where you feel comfortable being yourself while working toward meaningful change. Whether you're facing anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, or simply feeling stuck, I'm here to help you gain clarity, build resilience, and move toward a healthier, more fulfilling life.
If you’re looking for a therapist who is down to earth, easy to talk to, and genuinely in your corner, I’d love to work with you. After 11 years in the mental health field, I’m excited to be back in private practice and to support you wherever you are in life. I work with both teens and adults, and our time together will always be shaped around you and what you need.
Hello! I have a masters in art therapy but hold licenses to be both a professional counselor and a registered art therapist. This allows me to have a unique take on therapy. I believe therapy should be a place where you feel safe, supported, and genuinely understood. My goal is to create a welcoming, judgment-free space where you can be yourself, explore challenges at your own pace, and build the skills needed to move forward with confidence.
I use a collaborative, strengths-based approach, tailoring therapy to each person's unique needs, interests, and goals.
While I incorporate evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), solution-focused techniques, and trauma-informed care, I also enjoy integrating creativity and art when it feels helpful. No artistic experience is ever required—art is simply another way to express thoughts and emotions that can be difficult to put into words.
I have experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, autism, emotional regulation, life transitions, and relationship challenges. Whether you're seeking support for yourself or your child, I'm committed to helping you feel heard, empowered, and equipped with practical tools that extend beyond our sessions.
Hi, I’m Dominique, a Licensed Professional Counselor and substance abuse counselor. I’ve worked with adults navigating substance use concerns, anxiety, self-esteem, and identity challenges for over a decade. My approach is real, compassionate, and culturally aware. I believe therapy should feel like a conversation that helps you grow, not a clinical checklist.

Find the right therapist for you
Headway makes it easy to find support for your mental health — from finding the right provider, to understanding costs, to scheduling with ease.
Factors to Consider When Choosing an Anxiety Therapist in Appleton
Searching for therapists in Appleton starts with finding someone whose experience matches what you want support with. People look for therapy for many reasons, including anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, grief, life transitions, and work stress. As you compare therapists, look for listed specialties, therapy styles, and populations they work with. A bio that mentions approaches like cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing, or acceptance and commitment therapy can help you understand how a therapist may structure sessions.
In a smaller city like Appleton, local in-person openings may be more limited than in larger Wisconsin markets. Virtual therapy can expand your options while still letting you work with a therapist licensed in Wisconsin. As you narrow your search, compare appointment times, whether a therapist is accepting new clients, session format, and whether a free phone consultation is offered. Reading profiles before booking can also help you learn how a therapist communicates, what they focus on, and what a first session may involve.
Therapy in Appleton can be a significant expense without insurance. Using in-network insurance is one of the most reliable ways to reduce session costs and understand what you may pay before you book. Headway helps you search for Appleton counseling options by insurance, availability, specialty, and virtual or in-person format. You can review therapist bios, see estimated out-of-pocket costs after entering your insurance details, and book directly when you find a therapist in Appleton, WI who fits your needs.
