Great to meet you!
Welcome, and thank you for considering CopeWell Psychiatry & Wellness. I'm Udo Chukwuocha, a doctoral-prepared, dual-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health and Family Nurse Practitioner. I'm glad you're here.
I believe mental health care should feel personal, collaborative, and never rushed. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and supported while we work together to understand your concerns and develop a treatment plan tailored to your unique needs.
As a dual-certified Family and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, I understand the close connection between physical and mental health. I take an integrative, whole-person approach to care, combining medical and psychiatric expertise to support your journey toward lasting wellness.
I provide care for individuals ages 17–64 experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, trauma, sleep concerns, burnout, and life transitions, and I look forward to partnering with you on your journey to better mental health.
Hi, I'm Lauren Brown, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over five years of experience providing compassionate, individualized care across the lifespan. I earned my Master of Science in Nursing from Vanderbilt University and have worked in diverse settings, including Nationwide Children's Hospital, federally qualified health centers, and private practice. I'm licensed in Oregon.
I work with children, adolescents, and adults navigating ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. I have a special interest in supporting high-achieving women and girls managing ADHD, burnout, perfectionism, and emotional overwhelm, often while juggling demanding careers, family responsibilities, or academic pressures. I also work closely with individuals on the autism spectrum and their families, offering neurodivergent-affirming care that honors how your brain works.
I believe medication management works best when it's collaborative, not prescriptive. My approach blends evidence-based psychiatric treatment with practical lifestyle strategies, psychoeducation, and a genuine commitment to understanding your unique story. Whether you're a parent seeking support for your child, a professional struggling with burnout, or someone who has felt misunderstood by the healthcare system, my goal is to help you feel seen, validated, and empowered.
I specialize in long-term, relationship-centered care that grows with you. I'm here not just to manage symptoms, but to walk alongside you through growth, setbacks, and healing. I integrate neuroscience, trauma-informed principles, and real-world coping tools into treatment, and I offer parent coaching and family support when helpful.
Above all, I want my practice to feel safe, judgment-free, and human. I know how hard it can be to ask for help, and I'm honored you're considering taking that step. Whenever you're ready, I'd be glad to meet you and learn your story.
As a PMHNP-BC, I offer medication management and therapy sessions via Telehealth Mon-Fri 0900- 19:00.
I have served aging people since I began working, the last 20+ years as a psychologist. Now, having aged into the group, I understand what it is to live with issues of aging, including the family, health and career / retirement issues that go along with that both personally and professionally. I am here to help others write their personalized how-to manual for a happier second half of life.
I have worked in the field of social services for over 31 years. I have experience working with adult survivors of child abuse, child neglect, domestic violence, commercial exploitation, and rape. I have experience working with adults dealing with anxiety, depression, divorce, family separation, and caretaker fatigue. I also have experience working with adults dealing with significant life/career changes, and those dealing with crisis situations.
