An experienced professional, I offer extensive experience in psychotherapy in a variety of areas. I am especially conversant in working with adolescents and seniors as well as adults.

I work with people navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction recovery, and big life transitions. I offer a warm, nonjudgmental space where you can slow down, feel heard, and start to heal. Together, we’ll focus on building practical coping skills, confidence, and lasting change. I also support families raising children with autism, as well as individuals managing both mental health and substance use challenges.

I have served individuals experiencing mental health symptoms and co-occurring disorders for 20 years. I am a social worker, a therapist and an independent provider for individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities.

Growing up in Africa as part of a large family with limited resources, I learned the values of resilience, perseverance, and community. My journey was not without challenges. I struggled with confidence, questioned my worth, and often felt unseen and ignored . Those experiences shaped my understanding of how deeply people need to feel valued, understood, and supported. Today, in my work as a therapist, I strive to create a welcoming, nonjudgmental space where clients feel seen, heard, and respected. Every person carries a unique story and deserves the opportunity to have their story honored with dignity, curiosity, and compassion.

I am an LCSW, psychotherapist, with 12+ yrs experience in the Mental Health field. I have worked in many different Mental Health Settings such as: Residential, IBHS, Drug/Alcohol, and Community Based. Specializations include: CCTP, EMDR, and Anxiety, Depression.

I have been in the medical field for over 20 years and have a rather diverse background. The last 6 years I have been in the role of PMHNP. Prior to that an RN in hospice, preceding that was critical care. Prior to becoming a nurse, I worked as an STNA.

I'm an LCSW practicing in Indiana, Florida, Ohio, Colorado, Alabama, Virginia, and Illinois. I specialize prenatal, childhood, and adolescent trauma, OCD, eating disorders, and ARFID. I currently see clients from age 2y through adulthood. I'm available for telehealth services and offer virtual psychotherapy and play therapy sessions.

I have served in pastoral ministry for eighteen years along with five years as a clinical counselor. I feel that I bring a pastor’s heart of empathy, patience, and compassion into my therapeutic work. I do enjoy serving clients with varied needs and of all faiths.
