Hi there, and welcome!
Congrats on taking the first step. As a licensed psychotherapist, my passion is listening and tuning into my clients' strengths, challenges, and what's holding them back from experiencing their best selves - and going from there. I work with adults of all ages, and specialize in trauma, anxiety, and depression. I hold a Masters from Fordham University's Graduate School of Social Services, completed a two-year training program at the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy, and am EMDR trained.
I'm a trauma-trained therapist based in New York with experience supporting individuals through anxiety, depression, PTSD, grief, and the challenges that come with getting older — things like identity shifts, chronic health conditions, and feeling like life looks different than you expected. I especially enjoy working with women navigating those in-between seasons, when they're not quite sure who they are or where they're headed. I have a background working with kids and families as well, and I'm open to expanding in that direction as my practice grows.
My path into mental health has been shaped by a genuine commitment to helping others navigate life's challenges. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker I have experience working with diverse populations across various settings, supporting individuals through periods of emotional distress, major life transitions, relationship difficulties, self-esteem concerns, trauma, interpersonal challenges, etc.
I am Licensed Mental Health Counselor with a master's degree from Pace University! With my experience in diverse environments from inpatient psych hospitals to intensive in-home programs, I bring a broad range of clinical skills and a flexible compassionate approach to supporting individuals with varying mental health needs.
Nice to meet you!

As a person of color, I understand the impact of culture and family on life experiences and societal constructs; I want to ensure that you feel safe without any judgment. We will work together, with you coming up with your goals and what you would like to work on as well as identifying the barriers that may prevent you from moving forward. Each session is gently tailored to the client’s needs and level of readiness to address them. As a therapist, I will support you to shift out of what is not necessary to get to what is most valuable to you. I practice through a solution-focused approach, client-centered therapy, and narrative therapy. I want you to be free of emotional pain, able to deal with life on your terms, and able to find meaningful purpose in work, family, friendships, spirituality, and all other life areas by taking it one day at a time!
Welcome is the word I express to my clients which communicates that I am happy that you have made the decision to seek a partner in their journey towards health, healing and wellness. My practice is diverse in seeking to serve clients from children to seniors and provide my services to any an all individuals in spite of race, gender or religious affiliation. I have training and experience in numerous areas including marriage, relationship, adolescent, academic, anxiety, depression and professional areas of need. I encourage you to give me a chance to work with you as we navigate the challenges you may be facing.
I have a love for collaborating with clients and learning their stories. I truly enjoy learning about all people and how they perceive the world, and I feel fortunate to help support the growth of each individual every time a therapeutic relationship is established. While I focus much of my practice through a CBT framework, I include elements of DBT and mindfulness as well.
