I am within several classes of achieving a second Master's degree in the field of substance abuse treatment. I have additional formal and practical training in the areas of trauma informed care, impulse control/anger management, crisis intervention, and cognitive behavioral modification strategies. I have worked with a wide variety of populations including co-occurring disorders (substance and mental health), at risk youth, and various other adult high risk/high need populations in both intensive inpatient and outpatient settings. Throughout my years of experience, I have worked at length with the majority of DSM V diagnosed disorders.
