I received my Bachelor’s (BA)in Criminal Justice (with a minor in Psychology) and Master’s degree in Counseling (MA) from Central Michigan University. After graduation, I started working with Community Mental Health, where I expanded my trainings and certifications. Since working with CMH I have been able to work with a large population of individuals with different challenges such as substance use, bereavement, trauma, domestic violence, family matters, and life goals. I am certified in DBT and DBT PE. I specialize in Behavioral Health, Personality Disorders, and Trauma Therapy. I have experience working with all ages from school age to geriatric clients.
Great to meet you! I welcome clients at any point in their journey and believe therapy is most effective when it is individualized to each person’s needs, experiences, and goals.
I decided to become a therapist because I know firsthand how meaningful therapy can be. I began therapy as a teenager, and that experience shaped my desire to support others through their own challenges. I have worked with adolescents throughout all 12 years of my career, including an internship within a school system and experience in the juvenile justice system. I also spent a year working in a secure residential treatment facility, where I developed a deeper understanding of trauma, impulse control, behavioral concerns, and the impact of adolescent development on emotional well-being.

Therapy that helps you feel more like yourself again. Many of my clients are the people others rely on. They are caregivers, professionals, business owners, parents, partners, and helpers who spend so much time taking care of everyone else that they lose connection with their own needs, emotions, and sense of self. On the outside, they may appear capable and high functioning. Internally, they often feel anxious, overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or stuck in patterns that no longer serve them.
