I am a trauma-informed therapist who works with adults (18+) experiencing challenges such as trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, emotional regulation, self-esteem, and life transitions. I earned my Bachelor’s from Spring Arbor University and my Master’s from Western Michigan University, where I also completed a certification in Trauma Across the Lifespan. My training includes EMDR, DBT, and CBT, and I’m passionate about creating a space where clients feel safe, supported, and accepted.
Across my clinical and human services work, I have developed a calm, steady approach to helping people move through dificult seasons. I am a member of the counseling team at my church. I have worked with individuals afected by trauma, domestic violence, abuse, neglect, and family stress. Through my work experience, I am able to create supportive environments where clients feel heard, respected, and guided toward practical next steps. My experience has strengthened my ability to build trust quickly, communicate with care, and respond thoughtfully in high-stress situations. Over the past years, I’ve had the privilege of working in a variety of clinical settings—including university counseling centers and community mental health agencies—supporting individuals from all walks of life. I am a certified EMDR therapist and an approved consultant of the EMDRIA.

I also work with individuals healing from addiction, substance use, and mental health challenges, and I have experience supporting military families as they navigate the unique barriers of having a loved one in the military, as well as serving Veterans.
