I do Individual, Couples, Family, and Group Therapy. I currently facilitate a Bereavement Group which meets at my Brookline office every Saturday from 2-4pm. I also run groups for substance abuse, depression and anxiety. In addition, I have a lot of experience counseling children of all ages. I am a firm believer in strength-based psychotherapy.
I have over 25 years of clinical work experience with adolescents, young adults, and adults of diverse backgrounds. My extensive experience working with adolescents, inspires me to work with youth who may be struggling in ways that their caretakers find overwhelming. Additionally, I have helped parents/caretakers to better manage family life and improve their relationships with their children during difficult times. Each person deserves support so that they can navigate home life and the outside world successfully. My only request is to have hope!
When a child has been through more than they should, or when a family is navigating trauma, foster care, or adoption, the right support changes everything. I work with children, adolescents, adults, and families
dealing with PTSD, trauma, anxiety, depression, and the weight of whatever life has handed them, including the complex emotions that come with foster care and adoption experiences. With more than a decade in mental health, I believe you are the expert on your own life. My role is to walk beside you as a guide and support
as you build on your strengths and work toward the future you envision.
I started specializing in CBT for children in 1998 — and the 28 years since have taken me through residential programs, day treatment, outpatient clinics, and public schools. That breadth of experience means I've worked with people across the full range of what life can throw at someone, and I've learned what actually helps.
In 2021, I completed a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Resiliency in the Helping Professions — deepening my focus on the skills that make change stick: emotional regulation, realistic optimism, and self-compassion. These aren't just techniques. They're the foundation of what I help clients build.
I work with children (ages 6+), adolescents, and adults on anxiety, depression, trauma, ADD/ADHD, family stress, and anger. I'm based in Central Massachusetts and offer telehealth across the state.
I'm a licensed psychotherapist who works with BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and/or neurodivergent adults who have spent a lot of time trying to understand themselves, but still feel stuck in painful patterns. You may already know where your struggles come from, yet find that insight alone hasn't brought the relief, self-compassion, or change you're hoping for. I've been a therapist for 5 years, and my training in internal family systems (IFS) therapy and somatic approaches has helped clients move beyond insight, experience relief in the body, and feel more whole and connected to themselves, others, and the world around them.
I work with clients who are ready to try something different — or who've tried talk therapy before and felt like something was still stuck.
I specialize in trauma, anxiety, depression, PTSD, OCD, eating concerns, and emotional regulation. I'm trained in EMDR, which is particularly effective for trauma and PTSD — it helps process difficult memories in a way that doesn't require you to re-live every detail out loud. For clients who connect better through creativity than conversation, I also offer art therapy as part of our work together.
I work with adolescents and adults across Western Massachusetts via telehealth, with some of the most flexible scheduling in the area — mornings, evenings, and weekends available.
Hello, I’m Charles, a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) dedicated to helping adults build healthier, more fulfilling lives. I work with individuals and couples facing anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, grief, relationship difficulties, self-esteem concerns, and major life transitions. I am a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care in a supportive and judgement free environment. I work with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, using collaborative care approach to personalized treatment plans that aligns with each client's goals. I believe that every person deserve to feel heard and empowered. My goal is to help you build resilience, improve your well-being, and achieve lasting, meaningful change.
Welcome, and come as you are. I believe meaningful change begins with understanding yourself on a deeper level. Many of the struggles we experience in adulthood, whether in relationships, self-worth, anxiety, trauma, communication, or life satisfaction, are shaped by patterns that developed long before we were aware of them. Often these patterns started as adaptations, ways of coping or relating that once helped us navigate our family or environment and made sense at the time. My role is to help you identify those patterns, understand why they exist, and create lasting change rather than simply managing symptoms.
