As a licensed mental health counselor, I believe mental health ties to many different aspects of our lives. Many people find it difficult to ask for help and I can see the difference when people make that first step. My goal is that people do not struggle alone and I am here to help. I work with adults of all ages but really enjoy working with couples and women who experience anxiety, depression, or PTSD.
In a world where there is endless advice, online "experts" and seemingly easy fixes, it can be challenging to hit a roadblock and find that nothing feels quite right. Whether it is depression, anxiety, or just a general sense that something is “off”, it keeps you stuck. And you just can't figure out how to fix it. While I have no answers, I offer a place to pause, reflect, and talk about what’s been holding you back. And most importantly, what you want to happen next.
Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker | Certified Dementia Practitioner
Boston, MA | In-Person & Telehealth Sessions
I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) and Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) with more than two decades of clinical experience helping adults navigate complex emotional, relational, and medical challenges. I hold a Master’s in Clinical Social Work from Boston College and have dedicated my career to providing thoughtful, evidence-based care rooted in authenticity, compassion, and the belief that genuine change is possible at every stage of life.
My areas of specialization include anxiety, depression, trauma, chronic pain, medical conditions, LGBTQ+ identity and relationships, grief and loss, end-of-life issues, and advanced care planning. My integrative approach draws from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and a Humanistic framework. I believe that movement is medicine, and that healing emerges through the mind–body connection — where awareness, purpose, and action intersect.
As a gay clinician, I am deeply committed to creating an affirming, inclusive space where clients can explore identity, relationships, and resilience with honesty and respect. I strive to help each person cultivate balance, clarity, and a renewed sense of possibility in their lives.
My goal is to help you recognize your own goals, while working efficiently through challenges. I am accepting of all clients and additionally work with male and female children, teens and adults from Black, Brown, Caribbean and immigrant communities. Carrying around a heavy feeling, losing sleep or struggling to cope can be daunting for anyone. I treat anxiety, depression, trauma, anger management, ADHD and life transitions? If it is difficult for you, then it's important to talk about. Therapy will help you to explore your understanding of why you feel the way you do.
I have worked in the field of psychology for over 25 years and hold two Master’s degrees as well as a PhD in Neuropsychology. I provide psychotherapy for individuals across the lifespan and specialize in the treatment of mood disorders, including anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder.
I also work with individuals who are navigating major life stressors such as divorce, career transitions, and other significant changes. In addition, I help clients address concerns related to anger management, chronic stress, and the psychological impact of health issues.
My goal is to support clients in developing effective coping strategies, gaining insight, and making meaningful changes that improve their overall well-being and quality of life.
As a therapist, my goal is to provide empathy and compassion in an emotionally safe environment. I am passionate about helping people through the most difficult challenges life may have.
